Without sounding too dramatic, Gunnebah saved my life. If like me, you’ve reached that point where you’ve lost hope and things seem to be getting harder rather than easier, I encourage you to take a step into this world which felt much more than just a rehab.The location alone makes you feel like you’re at one with nature and they truly capitalise on it with adventures and activities. And the way they nourish you with some of the best food you’ll have cooked for you despite any food allergies you may have is the icing on the cake at the end of the day.But the true key to the experience is the therapy and therapists and how your educated through classes and workshops about everything surrounding your addiction. And that knowledge stays with you long after you leave, if you put the work in while you’re there.The team at Gunnebah are some of the kindest and most understanding and patient people you’ll ever meet.Going to Gunnebah was the best gift I have ever given myself in my 35 years on this earth.

I stayed at Gunnebah drug rehab Centre for three weeks as a volunteer. It was the most quiet place I’ve ever been. It’s surrounded by mountains, rainforests, and all the animals you could imagine. Living there feels like live back to the old times in history when human are still tight to nature, a part of nature, it made my heart sing every morning I step outside my beautiful room. Stuff there are professional and easy going, Chris the manager is one of the best person in the world! He’s kind, humorous and always have a lot of stories to tell! Thank you! I hope I could come back again!

When I entered Gunnebah my mother had just died from alcoholism. I was determined not to follow her path. And boy is this the place to heal. The facility, the staff, the guests, it felt like home immediately. I’m 30 days sober and my health physically and emotionally has changed my life. This place was my second attempt at rehab and it was a unique experience compared to a clinical rehab. Staff and community were friendly and helpful with anything, the food is amazing and the serenity of the place was special. Would highly recommend for those that want to change their lives. It changed mine.

Gunnebah is a beautiful place, relaxing environment, nutritious meals and lovely people around. Lot of things to do like daily yoga, bush walk or gardening. The best spot to build positive lifestyle those who want to make deep change.

When I entered Gunnebah in September 2022, I was empty, broken and helpless. After years on end of substance abuse and self destructive behaviour I had finally come to the realisation that something needed to change. I could not keep living like that anymore. The first few weeks of my 3 month stay were personally rough. But with the help of the AMAZING staff I was able to gently peel back the layers of my past and really examine and rewire my behaviour to set me up for the amazing life of recovery that I now live. The level of compassion, empathy and pure care is next level at Gunnebah. Every staff member goes above and beyond to accommodate the guests emotional and physical needs in a responsible and trauma informed way thereby resulting in my personal success in recovery to this day. Without Gunnebah I would be not be here today, living my life in recovery. I cannot recommend it enough. They literally helped me change my life!Thank you Gunnebah xxOh and the food is NEXT LEVEL!

The most profound and life changing experience I have ever had.I spent 6 weeks at Gunnebah and can say with confidence that this facility has changed the course of my life. I was nervous on entering but these nerves evaporated once I saw the grounds and met the amazing staff (and dogs).The location itself is the perfect place to relax and connect with yourself and others. The facilities which include a gym, sauna, pool and plenty of activities allowed me to keep up a healthy lifestyle. The off-site activities were awesome - spa days, surfing/beach, tennis, whale watching to name a few.The food is no doubt some of the best I have ever experienced - the variety of healthy options had me excited for every meal.The quality of the therapy sessions (group and individual) must be some of the best in Australia. I felt like I hit the jackpot with how much I learnt at Gunnebah and the skills I was able to take home and apply to my life. If you are struggling with addiction I could not recommend this place more.Thanks to all at Gunnebah!

My time at Gunnebah was amazing the things I have learnt and experienced was life changing. The program is such an awesome program the staff and facilities are amazing being situated in one of the most beautiful spots I couldn't ask for much more.
