Such a wonderful tea store, it simply exudes charm. Interesting and wide selection of quality teas available as well as a dazzling array of tea pots, cups and saucers. A must visit for anybody who likes a cuppa or for a gift for someone who does. They also do beautiful gift wrapping!

Wandering through New Farm, Tour de Tea will catch your eye, with its striking green shopfront emblazoned with its signature typewriter-esque font. Stepping inside, you’ll immediately notice the impressive array of teas on display - each with a little sample for one to smell (half of the fun of visiting). The way in which the shelves are lovingly arranged - beautiful teapots paired with matching airtight containers and decorative books - gives a sense of the quality work and attention to detail you can expect from the family that owns and runs this charming little establishment. At the counter, Hannah, or her sister Amy, will invite you to sample whichever selection of teas they’ve prepared at that moment, and will take the opportunity to impress you with their formidable knowledge of the craft, as you nod and attempt to hide your ignorance of the art and science involved. If you’ve come with containers prepared, they’ll happily weigh out exactly as much as you need, and if not, you’ll leave with one of their beautifully-prepared resealable packages (or perhaps several). And you’ll definitely be back. I know I will - there’s still so many different teas to try, and each time, a different array of teapots to admire!

Super lovely tea shop in New Farm. Found it accidentally walking around New farm. All the tea here are super special and has its own special names and stories. Love the owner so much, she’s super patient with explaining all the different teas and giving amazing recommendations. Found some special teas and tea cups as a gift for my friends and the owner wrapped it up perfectly for me! Love it! 100% recommend for tea lovers!

Tour de Tea stocks up the BEST tea in Australia. I first came to this business about 5-6 years ago at Kelvin Grove market and bought a couple of their teas to try (Blue Mountain, Rose Grey and French Earl Grey). Instantly, I fell in love with it. You can taste the high quality of the tea leaves and the flavours which other popular tea brands does not have.My husband and I drove all the way from Sydney to this store to stock up after so many years. And, I learned you can order online which makes it better for me to stock up more in the future!
