Really enjoyed the food here. Everything is bursting with flavour! Great selection of Asian dishes from the Mekong river region, including Malaysian, Vietnamese etc. Portions are generous for the price, so if you go for several dishes like us you’ll probably have plenty to take home too :) service was very friendly, highly recommended and will be back soon!

The place looks quite old and the menu is mix of all South East Asian countries. Tried their basil fried rice, tamarind chicken, char kuew teoy & greens with black fungus & spring rolls. Basil fried rice was nothing special, can’t say I tasted much basil in it. Tamarind chicken was quite sweet, not what I was expecting, also took forever for that dish to come out. We pretty much finished eating everything else by the time the chicken came out. Char kuew teoy was the best dish that day, very tasty and big pieces of eggs. The greens are mild tasting, but I wish there are more black fungus. I think there were only like 5 pieces of it, so very scarce for the amount of the greens. Spring rolls were ok. The owner is very chatty & likes to tell you stories. Overall was rather disappointed with most of the dishes.

Fantastic food. Francis was an amazing cook excellent host. We had a movie starting at 6:30 and wanted to see if we could eat prior. Francis allowed us pre order. All our food was great. Would highly recommend this place.

Flawed with happiness. Food was flavour full, cooked with love and served with happiness and care. Honestly one of my most memorable dining experiences. Will be coming back again and again and will be recommending to all my friends and family. In one word.....happiness.

We went through many google searches for south Asian restaurants and we tried this one for the first time. Not restaurant is easy to find with lots of car park space at the back of the restaurant (near the train station) and we ordered the Rare Beef Pho, Pineapple fried rice and the chicken. (With coconut drink)All the dishes were nicely cooked to right portion for family and taste just right for everyone.Recommend to try with very decent price and good value for money.The owner is friendly and he offered very good service for us. It was a pleasant sunny lunch there.

Fantastic Malaysian Chinese restaurant, especially the deep fried Mango Barramundi and the Jumbo King Prawns with tang hoon.Great Malaysian and Thai food and host owner Francis will sure to take care of you. One of best curry laksa in Melbourne. The Ox tail soup is fantastic and flavorsome and tender. The rendang is also tops with generous portions and tender meat. The that mango prawn salad is also great with healthy greens and juicy prawns. Highly recommend these dishes and pricing is great too. One of top asian restaurants in Melbourne. The pork hock trotters was nicely cooked and tender, the prawns was spicy and full of flavour, the chicken ribs in tamarind sauce was delightful and sweet too. The moochi dessert is to die for and a definite must try. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere and setting was great. Sure to be back.

A beautiful family owned restaurant. Delicious Vietnamese and South Eastern Asian cuisine. Loved the live mud crab dish, the flavour was amazing, smooth and succulent flesh. All the food we ordered was delicious. The owner Francis is so friendly and recommended the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten! Lots of different types of Asian dishes to choose from, I will have to come back to try all the other dishes. Highly recommended!

Amazing food. Great service. Went to Mekong with our family and a group of friends. All the dishes we had were tasty. Favourites were the Ton Yum soup, Lemon Grass chicken, and the green curry chicken. Highly recommended place to go. Also. The staff were friendly and provided a high quality service.
