Avoid this business! The proprietor has now sold me two watches not fit for purpose, both of which he recommended. He refused to give me refund or exchange on the last watch I bought here, only a few days after i purchased it. He is misleading and frankly a liar, telling me he can't" give an exchange or refund. He sold me a Lorus watch the wrist band of which broke in under a week of its purchase; when I returned to the store for advice the man told me "I can't do nothing". All he had to do was exchange the wrist band - I had to point this out to him (he charged me for the replacement band). He also sold me a part for a watch which broke about 4 days later

Adjustment was done properly, however, he did not take very good care of my watch! Deep scratches left on the case back from slipping the caseback tool, scratch as well on the glass of my watch. There is now a lot of crown movement and slipping of the crown as I wind it. Dust was left inside the watch case as well. NONE of these issues were present on my watch PRIOR to sending it to him for a simple adjustment. Will not send another watch to him again.

Completely unhelpful when asked for a simple indication of cost for a battery change on a specific model of watch. Agree O stars would be more appropriate

Avoid this business as owner is dishonest. He charged me $58 to change batteries in two watches and when I queried it he told me it was actually more but I got a discount.

Had 2 of my watches serviced here the watchmaker is a great guy to talk to and had done a great job on both vintage timepieces would definitely recommend his services

My experiences with this merchant have been excellent. He did an expert repair on a vintage fob watch for me and also made some adjustments to my modern watch and band. Nice to have a real specialist at hand.

Inspected my wifes watch and fixed it without charge, he had identified that the mechanism needed replacing and did this free of charge and would not accept any money for his time.

Would recommend. Went in for two watch battery replacements and a new watch band. Pleasant to deal with, all done in 20 minutes.
