Cairns Airport

Small airport. Has all the facilities and a good food court.. however, food is just as expensive as Sydney. The security checks are a pain with rude people and slow lines. Typical Australian domestic airport.

Exceptionally rapid airport. Efficient check in, security and gates.Rocked up an hour before a flight in absolute rush but managed to make it through easily with tonnes of time to spare!!Well laid out and well thought out. Laid back, chilled out aussies!

Plenty of shops inside and nice car rental options inside the terminal. But no shops open outside the checkin area , so if you go early, there is no shops to buy food except the vending machine.

It's definitely much better now with extra new places to eat. But please fix and increase the chargers. Most UBS chargers were not operational. The virgin lounge is not operating but Qantas lounge is.

The Cairns airport is a very nice little airport with a lot of beautiful little spots around to spend time before departure. It’s well maintained, very clean and well looked after.We flew domestic and once you go through the security clearance the departure lounge is quite well equipped with places to find food, drinks and souvenirs as well as anything you wish to shop for.The staff and security are quite nice and are really relaxed which is not always the case in larger more stressful environments but here it’s lovely. Also found it to never really be to crowded inside which was really great for such a little airport.It’s got it all and I really appreciate this little airport a lot more then the biggest airports of other cities around Australia.

It’s a beautiful small cute airport with lots of restaurants at the departure a few being:-World of chocolate-Espresso bar-Mr. Greeners (juices and salads)-Bistrot - Italian restaurantThere’s a big souvenir shop and tech shop.They have a lot of outlets including usb to charge phones and laptopsThis airport has international flights and it connects to every city in the domestic sector.

Absolutely pathetic excuse for an airport. No ability to check in online and only one attendant checking people in for their flight at peak hour. Will literally eat the lining of my bag before I spend a cent inside this place, that is if I ever make it in.

The airport is well managed and the border security is tight. There are plenty of shops once you check in and duty free shop available too. Loved the interiors and the design of the airport. Smooth and easy transfer. Airport charging stations available in abundance.

This must be one of the best airports I have ever been too (just wish the air conditioning was working as it appeared hot there).So many food choices to choose from.Very clean toilets.Spacious layout.Easy drop off section.Charging stations for your phone.
