A nice airport but why are the guys policing the pick up / drop off zone so aggressive?Honestly, I arrived today to pick up my mother in law who was walking out of the main doors and the parking inspector knocked on my window immediately and accused me of lying that someone was coming out to get into my car.Why else would I be there?He was on a power trip if you ask me.

I've always found the domestic terminal clean, simple to transit through and a reasonable quality of food when you need to wait a little longer than you'd originally planned. The current upgrade works out the front make it a bit hard for pick up and drop off, but I haven't been missed or lost yet.

I have not required to use Newcastle Airport for several years until last week. The updates and new facilities are fantastic. Easy check in process and flight boarding. Will be an even better airport when International flights become available. A big shout out to the wonderful and very friendly people who greet you and offer assistance when you first enter the terminal

Newcastle Airport is a superior regional airport. At present you need to cope with some construction work, but when that is finished it will be great. There are good facilities for a coffee before take off.

Convenient parking close to the terminal. An easy 6 min walk. Unfortunately, after arriving for our flight on time after a week at work I got to start my weekend escape with the experience of Liz the Jetstar 'Manager' at the Check-in counter called out Are you all here for the 07.50 flight

What a joke of an airport. Flights getting cancelled. Since there is no space to check my bag in I have to wait for several hours out near the entrance with my suitcase. So I can’t access the cafes or shops. Also counters are poorly attended and communication is not adequate.

Our “go to” airport when needing to get get somewhere by air. Lots of recent work done and the cheapest park of any airport we have been to. Just wish the airlines opened up more destinations and more flights.

For a regional airport it's pretty good. But heaven help them if they get international flights without a major rebuild. It simply doesn't have the capacity.

Best security in the country. Don't have to remove laptop and they were courteous.Good selection cafes for a small airport. Plenty of parking and drop-off right outside the door
