Despite the dog wash not having any conditioner for the second time, it is really awesome to have something like that locally. Makes bathing our border collie so much easier than at home. Prices aren't always the best but the staff are nice to deal with.

Has a variety and join up membership gives you future credits to reduce future shopping. Very friendly and helpful staff

Do not shop here.Sold me all the incorrect equipment for the wrong fish do your own research because these people don’t what they are talking about especially India one of the sales assistants. Then wouldn’t give me a refund because of her own mistake.Would rate zero but isn’t possible.

Armidale seems to have pretty good pet shops.The staff were super friendly & helpful.Good amount of stock & can get things in.Has has a good parking lot, is easily accessible, good open plan floor, can help you carry things to car, easy to get a taxi to the door in the car park.The front of store & entery is in the carpark, not on the street.They do AfterPay, cash or card.Have a good range of stock.Open on weekends.

They have some amazing fish in this store, which is a shame because the customer service is an absolute joke. One of the staff laughed in my face for asking how often I should be feeding some fish, and I've copped eye rolls, dirty looks, and the silent treatment over all my first (and last) few visits to this store, trying to sort out a problem. Its like the Karen's Diner of pet shops.. very confusing. Meanwhile they have zero quarantine protocols on their stock, so if you buy a fish, it could have been returned from someone else's aquarium earlier that same day - which is likely, because they don't like to give customers advice.In the end, the guy actually exchanged my troublesome fish for fish that he would have known were sick, and would also cause further aggression in my aquarium, while telling me they were super peaceful. Next day my aquarium was still in chaos. I'm never going back to this shop, not even to ask for my money back. I still don't know what I did to offend them but they're completely unprofessional and clearly bringing their personal lives and/or political views into work, gossiping all day and making customers uncomfortable.That guy pretends he cares about the fish, but the betta he sold me has been in absolute torment all week, and is now really sick and suffering - all because he refused to help me figure out the problem, and wants to stuff with my head and waste my time and energy instead. Not to mention the passive aggressive insult before I left, when I've never met this man before. Thankfully there's a kind and professional pet shop in town who were happy to take the second lot of troublesome fish off my hands. Do not ever go to this shop here if you want to enjoy learning how to keep an aquarium - not unless you're an expert who can just ignore the staff. There's a reason they're so quiet - they'll make you feel like dirt if you need to ask them any questions.

Not a bad store, a bit expensive on some items. Service is OK. The DIY dog wash is a real winner and sets it apart in this area. Parking is ample and easy to get to, central to other shopping needs.

Wow what an amazing store. Lovely customer service! The amazing young lady Summer helped me pick out the exact right shampoo for my dogs eczema! They have so many cute fish and everyone in there is happy to help. My go to pet store!
