First, I must admit all the staff are soooooooo friendly and courteous ,pleasant and helpful. During the early Covid days, one staff even offered to sent the food to my place coz I told her I live out of the 5 km quarantine radius. Comments made to the shop are attended to professionally and efficiently. Love the choices of Asian ready to eat fast food packages ,so many varieties to choose from. Despite its small area Home Pantry never fail to deliver what we need. To sum it up, A small shop with lots to offer amidst very friendly environment!!!…probably to add more excitement and bite, have a small kitchen to dish out simple hot savoury hawkers food on the weekends.

It's great for when u cbf going shopping and its just outside your door... I love that I can leave home and be back in under 2min with a meal or that thing forgotten at supermarket... Very entrepreneurial buying and converting. I don't think it was purpose built off the plan to be a shop... It's just another apartment on the G floor (I think so anyway)

Most down to earth friendly staffs in Melbourne! Shop is always kept at its best clean and neat condition. Always a pleasure to visit without nasty surprises. Huge variety of Asian cuisines are reasonable prices. Also their frozen section has amazing stuffs too. Will visit whenever I’m in that area. Great efforts in keeping your shop so clean and always a pleasure to visit for quenching my hunger!!

Went here for their brown sugar milk tea icecream but ended up walking out with a couple Malaysian food and desserts (including the icecream I wanted). The food was great and everything is reasonable priced. My favourite is the prawn noodles with its flavourful prawn broth with a spicy kick. My tip would be to heat up the food on the stove rather than microwave for better result. Definitely coming back for more. Owners are lovely and would happily tell you about their food offerings and how fresh it is.

In fact, I heard of this before, but I never thought of visiting it because there are many Asian groceries around my house.It is close to the railway station, located at the basement of a suburban building. It is a rather quiet during my wife and I visit, no where close the amount of foot traffic in similar stores.It does not have many isles of shelves, and dies not stock many grocery items. However, it captues a niche market by selling packaged as well as freshly cooked food, pastries, kuihs and frizen Yum Cha itens specifucally for the Malaysian / Singaporean customers.I can see that it stocks two brands of frozen Musang King. It seems the less known brand is a better tastewise.The freshly cooked food is cooked on the premise, but other are sourced from suppliers who also supply to other groceries and eateries.As first time customers, my wife and I are offered a cup of coffee. Although it comes from an automatic coffee machine, and using non-fresh milk, the coffee really taste great, aromatic, full-body and creamy".We try the curry puff. I have to give it full marks for the puff pastry and the curry filling.The staff is very friendly

A home pantry indeed with all the essential Asian kitchen and groceries supplies. Besides selling tubs of ice creams, they have many Malaysian cooking ingredients and sauces.The fridges have a good variety of pre-packaged kuih, rice and noodle meals.Friendly staff and helpful service.

Fantastic! They have a wide range of items! Ranging from the bare necessities (Like headache tablets and buckets) to little goodies (like donuts and wontons). They have vegan options too!Prices are extremely reasonable, which was a great surprise. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the shop itself was clean and wonderfully laid out.A wonderful shop that I will definitely be going to regularly.

Great place to get a huge varieties of delicious Malaysian food convenient for take away. My regular favourites are the different types of Nasi Lemak packed in banana leaves, and the mackerel fish on timeric rice with sambal. Also a great place to get soup packs.

I've been going to Home Pantry many times for its food and special offerings on Saturdays. Stephanie is always very friendly and goes out of her way to help me, be it carry my food to the car as I have a young toddler, or ensuring I have my cravings satisfied by reserving special Singaporean/Malaysian food. They keep their menu varied by offering various food items throughout the week, from several restaurants or catering companies. I'm lucky this is within my 5km radius!
