Highly recommend Vida tennis in Mt. Waverley based on our experience over last 2 years with amazing coaches Ignacio, Angelo, Kane and George.My 12 year old started 2 years ago at Vida. Being a beginner, the focus was on technique which helped her develop her skills and quickly start participating in the tournaments. A year later, she started coaching with George Vogiatzis, who is an amazing human being and an excellent coach. George focuses on all aspects of tennis guiding the kids to be their best self on and off court.My daughter loves the fun learning environment he creates for the kids in private lessons and squads.Learning with George has helped improve her mindset and skill set, which is showing on and off the court. Structured planning introduced by George has helped her manage time for school work and also be accountable to her career goals. George understands and caters to individual strengths and improvements. His ability to focus on the learning process over results has helped with the mindset and improve the game. She is enjoying and thriving with Vida who is supporting her growth as a strong individual on and off the court.

I have a 15 year daughter and 5 year old son both getting valuable, but different experiences from their tennis coaching.My 15 year old is an accomplished tournament player. She trains 4 nights a week, two advanced squads and two semi private lessons. She also does two days PT outside the club and plays competition on the weekends and holidays. In the last two months she's been training with George Vogiatzis and we've seen a great improvement in her performance. We sat down for a meeting with George on two occasions and worked out a training plan as well as short and longer term career goals. The lessons are fun and very well structured. The squads are age and ability appropriate and good friendships are formed. Progress is very pronounced. George has her journalling after each training session and match. Her motivation, passion and ambition have definitely gone next level. George has structured her training program with the aim of achieving a US college scholarship. On the current trajectory it feels like a plausible ambition.My 5 year old is an absolute beginner and he participates in a weekly red ball (hot shots) group with Angelo Giampaolo. It's a small group class with no more than 5 kids so he gets a lot of time on the ball and attention of the coach. The activities are fun and engaging for the very young children. He stays engaged throughout the lesson and we seeing good improvement in his basic skills and hand eye coordination. My son does the class together with another friend and it's a highlight of his weekly calendar.

I’ve been a member here since 1996. It is a fantastic club with a wonderful history. The VIDA coaches are terrific. As a working mum, having a group lesson on a Monday night is just the perfect fit. Kane, Angelo and the team are excellent coaches, and make training fun ... as well as hard work. I highly recommend joining this tennis club and the coaching program if you’re after a real family, community feel- and want to use some of the best facilities in Melbourne.

Kane as the Head Coach has been accessible, friendly & professional. The lessons are fun & technical enough for my son to have plenty to think about before the next one comes around. We've been with VIDA only a short time & feel very lucky to have found such a club & team like VIDA - keep up the great work! 100% recommended.

My sons have been training with Vida for about 2 years at MCC Glen Iris. I would absolutely recommend Kane, Angelo and the wider Vida team for any tennis player - they are passionate about what they do, know their stuff and create a really fun and engaging atmosphere. Further to this the Vida team really support and nurture the kids development for tennis and beyond. Would definitely recommend!

The team at Vida tennis are an integral part of the club at MCC Glen Iris Valley. They offer lessons and sessions for a full range of players from beginner to elite for all ages. Angelo and Kane are great coaches and I highly recommend their coaching programs.I've been a club member since 1991 and would recommend joining as a member. These are some of the best en-tout cas courts in Melbourne, great location and awesome views over Riversdale Golf Course.

My 7 year old son has been having tennis lessons with Vida Glen Iris for 3 years. He absolutely loves it. The programs are fun and energetic. He absolutely enjoys it and continues to gain more confidence and skills.My 4 year old son started this year and loves it. The coaches are so fantastic with the younger ones.Myself and a few of the mums from school also started lessons to get back into tennis. And we all love it. There are people of all different levels and everyone is encouraging and friendly.I would highly recommend Vida. Angelo who runs Vida Glen Iris and his coaches are enthusiastic, friendly and extremely professional.

The Vida team are genuinely passionate about tennis and the development of the individual players. They have a very caring and inclusive culture and their program creates a very supportive tennis community for the players. Their communication is also excellent and they go above and beyond to ensure make up lessons are completed. Keep up the great work team!

My son and daughter both started training at Vida Boxhill with the head coach Joanne then we moved to Vida Mount Waverley due to Boxhill courts were not available during lockdowns and Joanne was on personal leave last year. My kids now have been training with the head coach Ignacio in Mt Waverley. I have to say both Joanne and Ignacio are great coaches, not only their tennis expertise but also professionalism, passion, enthusiasm in their tennis career. A part from Joanne, Ignacio, I find Kane, Angelo are awesome to work with as well. They are flexible, easy to communicate, friendly, open-minded. I have been to many tennis clubs with my kids during their competitions and hardly see any place with such a great bunch of awesome coaches like in Vida. Thank you guys for building such an excellent Tennis community.
