Man About a Dog - Dog walking

Alex has been walking my 1 to Maltese Shih-Tzu since early 2021. I can’t recommend the wonderful service he provides highly enough! Alex is reliable, very well organised and a great communicator (with humans as well as dogs!) Most importantly he is very kind to my pup and she absolutely loves him. It’s such a comfort for me to know she is in safe hands and having fun with other dogs under his care (including for overnight stays!) Thanks Alex for doing such a wonderful job and all the care you take, we appreciate it so much!

Alex of Man About a Dog is a god send! He came highly recommended by a friend and ever since meeting him and sending my doggy to walk with him he’s been nothing but amazing.Very professional and reliable. Always goes above and beyond to assist and be flexible.And the best part is Ziggy adores him and loves her walk days. Alex has been wonderful for us. Our dog, Louis, adores him and he has been always prepared to accommodate the shifts in arrangements which we have sometimes had to make. He is totally reliable and always lets us know if there are any issues about pick up times, etc. We have had Alex stay in the house on occasions when we have both had to be interstate. He is someone who makes things easier for us.

Alex and his team are excellent. They understand dogs and their behaviours. this makes a fantastic experience for our dog who lives his walks with Alex. Highly recommend !!

Alex is a wonderful dog walker who really cares about our dogs. They have a full hour off leash in Centennial Park and are properly exercised when they come home. We would recommend Alex to anyone looking for a dog walker in the inner city area!

We prefer our 2 Cavaliers to stay at home when we go away as we also have a pond with fish and a garden that needs watering and when it rains super heavily a section of our house can leak so we need it monitored. I was recommended to Alex from Man about a dog from another dog walker/minder.It’s a perfect arrangement and we feel so lucky knowing everything will be the same when we come home. We keep in touch whilst we are away, the dogs are happy and exercised regularly, the fish (in the pond) are looked after as is the garden and thankfully we haven’t had to test the rain issue.I would highly recommend Alex and Man About a Dog in the capacity of in-house dog sitter, peace of mind is everything.
