Cathedral Rocks
breathtaking viewing. The rocks are washed off and not much left though according to a local. there is a little cave area if you walk down the rocks which we didn't dare because the waves were rough at the time we visited

It's easy to miss this place. As you're coming down the hill, stop briefly just before the road inclines again. Get out to walk a well worn grassy patch to see some rocks from that angle. Then drive up the hill to where you see an information sign (see my photo) and from that angle you will see the Cathedral rocks.

One of my favourite spots! Best to visit during the golden hours for good drone shots. Recommend checking the local tide forecast before making a trip out here.

Didn’t live up to the hype if seen from a distance. I captured some photos from the top. Access can be tricky depending on the tide and roughness of the sea. In terms of parking just backup along the footpath parking. It’s anyways at a deadend / no through road. Might revisit at dusk or dawn for long exposure photography.

Very nice for taking photos here. Easy to get parking on the nearby street. It is an easy walk to the water. You can walk out further on the rocks at low tide. It can get a bit dangerous when high tide is coming in. Very nice views of the amazing rock formations.

Absolutely beautiful spot to see some very unique rock formations. You'll see a wonderful combination of spire-like rock towers (from lava and from an old quarry) and lively water pools. I highly recommend taking walks around this area or just going to watch the waves crash into the coast!

A short walk from Jones beach. Some unusual rock formations. Great to visit at sun raise and sun set. The shadows create some wonderful effects. Plenty of different nook and cranny to explore. You can also have a swim

Honestly, I just don't get the hype about Cathedral Rocks. It's one small collection of rocks and a tide pool if you're lucky. If you want knock-your-socks-off amazing rocks, just go 5 minutes South to the Bombo Quarry. THOSE are spectacular rocks.
