Sukhjinder Singh, the Director of Folk Lovers Academy, is a wonderful teacher, very patient and encouraging! I have only started learning Bhangra and Dhol since last 2 months, and I feel like I'm progressing very quickly!I found this Academy unique as a gateway where children and adults are not only learning Bhangra but also learning how to play folk instruments like Dhol, Algozey, Sarangi, Thumbi, Bansuri, Bugchu. Lessons are recorded and shared with children/parents for them to practice at home.Excellent coaching centres with mirrors to watch/improve your Bhangra steps and great sound system.I feel proud to be a member of Folk Lovers Academy and wish best of luck to Sukhjinder and Seema.

One of the best bhangra academy in south eastern Melbourne.My daughter and I have been going for 6 months and had a excellent experience (superb teaching techniques and extra attention given to kids).Highly recommended if anyone is looking for bhangra or folk instruments training.

Both my boys have been going to Folk Lovers Academy for a while now and I must say that it was the best decision ever.Sincere, dedicated and hard working are just a few words for the great teacher Sukhjinder Singh Laddi.May it be bhangra or instrument class, he gives more than 100% to his students and makes sure that the kids are learning and not just attending the class for the sake of.Kids look forward to their class every week.I would highly recommend Folk lovers academy.

Really great experience with folk lover .I can sea real folk skill in my child . Even my Australian born son is singing Punjabi Boliyan and playing Dhol .I would like to express my gratitude towards coach for teaching this skill to our Aussie kids

I enrolled my son in folk lovers classes and the instructor Mr Sukhjinder Singh laddi is a very passionate teacher who has shown immense dedication for helping the children succeed in their dancing goals. Mr Laddi’s methods of teaching were very traditional which kept the students in touch with the Punjabi heritage. My son picked up many valuable moves whom I often get applauded for.
