Waimarie Apartments

We just came back from an amazing week over at Lord Howe Island staying at Waimarie Apartments. I would 100% recommend them for your stay at LH. (1) The apartment is amazing - nicely decorated and spacious. You have your own private bbq area with views to the mountains and sunset and a separate private outdoors coffee lounge on the back which is also pretty cool. All the linen, towels and kitchen stuff is first class. (2) The area is very secluded and private - while a very short 8 minute stroll into town. You can definitely get closer to town but Waimarie gives you a huge space in front of your apartment to enjoy without feeling the claustrophobia of other resorts. The breeze is great and very silent at night. (3) The hosts are the best! Drove us into town as much as needed, gave us good recommendations on what to do, welcomed us with a bottle of bubbles and roasted coffee.Don't think it twice. If you can find availability make sure you book it or it may be too late! :))

WOW! What an amazingly special place to stay! Waimarie is set up with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday and perfect views to watch the sunset each night. The apartment was beautifully decorated, even down to the linen on the extremely comfortable king sized bed. Sharon went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I recently spent a week at Waimarie apartments which was truly a fantastic destination, a great place to stay and very lovely hosts. The accommodation is a beautifully neat, clean and new set up with beautiful islands views. When I return to Lord Howe island I will be staying here again, no question.

Wow so cool to go there next door to that island is bails pyramid I wished I was there I never been there before in my life so much about it the dance of bails pyramid but the dancers well otherwise they might fall into the deep water

Waimarie is in the perfect location, overlooking the airstrip and lagoon with a magnificent view of the mountains. We delighted in the simplicity and comfort of the recently renovated apartment and appreciated the small details: the homemade biscuits on arrival, the aromatic coffee and fine tea selection, fresh bread and eggs, luxurious linen and toiletries. The service was warm and welcoming and we highly recommend Waimarie to others planning a visit to Lord Howe Island.
