Best tackle shop in Port Stephens. Customer service is amazing. Allen your a champion. His knowledge of the waterways is spot on. His tackle is top quality at a bargain price. Don't usually write a review but I was so happy with my experience that it had to be done. For all you squid fisherman he has all you need.

Excellent customer service from some friendly blokes. Alan and Jamie helped me out after leaving my tackle box in Sydney. Great tips and some very nice brined pilchard and prawn bait available that the fish love. Scored some spotters sunglasses. Will visit again!

First time visiting Soldiers Point from Sydney, what a great customer experience. Allan was knowledgeable and friendly, doesn’t over sell anything you don’t need. Walked out of there and will definitely be back for a boys fishing trip!

This is the place you need to go to get the best stuffs for fishing!! They gave me advice and it worked!!!! Finally I got nice fish !! Thank you so much for your help!! And they sell best pilchard that you must buy it!!! We will come back!

We stayed up the road from this place, and came across this little tackle shop, but this place has an owner with a big heart who is genuinely cares about his customers.He put us on alot of information on where to fish and also put us in connection with a well known local fishing guru.Thank to Alan we had an amazing weekend.He is a little Aussie battler having a go against the big corporationsHe gives his best to everyone that comes in to his small store.I highly recommend this place

My husband visited this store to get some bait over the weekend & ended up spending half an hour speaking with a staff member. The guy shared all his knowledge on rods, bait & where the best local spots were to go fishing. Very knowledgeable & friendly staff going above & beyond to help their customers. Thank you, my husband loves his new setup.

We had the best experience coming to this shop, the boys were incredibly knowledgeable and Alan even has his own YouTube Videos to show you more amazing things. I bought my daughter’s first fishing rod here, she absolutely loves it. You will find everything you need in this shop for fair prices and the customer service is just second to none… amazing. Port Stephens Bait 'n' Tackle
Spent the week up at Soldiers Point, and went in to this store to source some rods and bait to give my son his first fishing experience. The owner was very helpful and gave us great local fishing advice and spots, as well us teaching us fishing ‘amateurs’ how to knot and tie hooks on properly. Great service and very helpful. Recommend to anyone staying in the area who would like to get a spot of fishing in on their trip.
