Tracey and Dave are really patient and thorough teachers! I completed their intro course and then build a book case with their assistance. Tracey led me through the book case and was there with practical advice and calm direction the whole way. It might seem expensive, but you are getting a lot for your money (access to the tools as well as all their experience and know how.). Highly recommend for anyone interested in exploring a new hobby!

I just completed the Advanced Introductory Woodworking course. It was a great experience - very interesting and easy to follow along. David is a brilliant teacher! Would highly recommend.

I did the beginner woodwork course today. As mentioned by all the other reviewers, David is an exceptional teacher that is clearly passionate about the craft. The lessons are very effective at building confidence and interest in the subject matter.On a safety note - one dangerous thing about the class to watch out for is that you might end up hooked on the idea of woodworking and strongly contemplate turning a room of your house into a workshop…Highly recommended.

Hands down one of the best classes I’ve ever attended. Already eyeing up several of the other classes and I can’t recommend David and team enough.Just finished the introductory course and came away with a wealth of knowledge. All delivered with the expertise and humbleness of someone who genuinely knows and enjoys their craft!

One of the best experiences I've had in recent years. I was gifted a workbench course and from the first moment I walked in I felt welcomed, supported and in expert hands. Nine short hours later I have something that I'll take with me the rest of my life; the new found confidence and beginner skills needed take on more fun personal woodworking projects jobs at home. Oh and a fantastic workbench.A huge and appreciative thank you to Grace and David, as well as all the welcoming and friendly people who I met frequenting the workshop for all their personal projects.

Furniture Finishing workshop I went to today was very informative. We covered all aspects of the course outline advertised with some practical hands on work and Dave gave a lot of relevant practical examples gained through his years of experience. Looking forward to another course in the future.

With relatively little experience in woodworking and with some initial trepidation, I spent the last two Saturdays with David doing the Advanced Introductory course.The course was fantastic and with David and Jeff as our tutors, felt very safe working on those power tools, and in the end delivering a really neat final product.I learned a lot and was particularly fascinated with the history of certain tools that David had a lot of knowledge about.The facility had everything you would ever need to do woodworking and all very well-maintained.My father-in-law and I have already decided we wil be back for another course, likely to be the hall table course.Thanks for an excellent couple of sessions David!

Such an amazing experience. Dave was patient and understanding of my difficult roster and accommodated me at a later date. He was informative, friendly, and made it a great experience. You learn how to use a ton of tools as well as how to use them safely. I did the advanced introductory course and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to dip their toes into woodworking!
