Echo is an immensely skilled painter and a generous, thoughtful and patient teacher.I’ve taken her classes for a few years now, and continue to learn new and interesting techniques every term. Also, her classes are fun!The small group size is ideal. You get a sense of community from learning with others, but also plenty of room to practise and develop at your own pace. Echo encourages every student with individual feedback and guidance.Highly recommended!

I stumbled upon Echo's studio a little more than a year ago and have stayed on simply because I have enjoyed the classes so much. Echo is an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher. She is accomplished in the principles and techniques of Chinese calligraphy and painting. There is solid technique but taught in a fun and straightforward manner which makes it very accessible. Echo creates a supportive atmosphere that enables a self exploration of new ways of seeing and painting. I look forward to taking more classes in the future and highly recommend Echo.
