We don't have a lot of experience with Filipino food so we are excited to try this place. We came during weekday night and there was no one dining in so service was very fast and attentive. Food was mostly leaning towards being bland. The best thing for us was the pork Sisig, the crispy pork skin works really well with the saucy dish and the lightness of raw red onion.Food - 4Service - 10Vibe - 8Price - $$$

Was excited to try this place and presentation was impressive but the food I ordered was lacklustre in flavours and textures. It may be that I'm not used to the flavours and texture of Filipino cuisine but generally the flavours were one dimensional and textures were relatively plain. Unlikely to go back. Also i the food was surprisingly oily. Had one of their cocktails was well and it was quite average.

Filipino dish in fusion. Liked the way they twist the dish around! Love how they name the mocktails too! Ukoy is my fave! Yum kare kare and more! We ate here with my hubby and mom and ordered the food mentioned. Wasn’t happy with the tortang talong but the waiter asked us as we nearly finished as to how was the food was. So I honestly gave him my feedback about the torta, I think this is the way all restaurants should do! A true customer service asking for face to face feedback and facing constructive criticism. As I was paying, they discounted the torta in half price. They are not cheap I guess that’s how it is when the food is fusion but will definitely recommend to people not only to the Filipinos. And will definitely come back to my Ukoy!!! Small capacity with bar counter too. Street parking only.

My partner and I were excited to try Filipino food for the first time, so when I saw this place on instagram we were keen to go.Service was lovely - friendly and attentive. The food was nice (although simple in flavours) however the portions were small and expensive. For these upscale prices, we were expecting more. $12 for a small salad that was 90% wombok was a little disappointing.If you want similar food with larger portions at a lesser cost, you can easily find many of them in Footscray.

The star of the meal is the chicken wings! They are so simple but so tasty with dept in flavours. The seafood curry is good as well - they cooked the prawns perfectly. The eggplant omelette tho is quite bage and bland. Staffs are all nice and friendly. Overall experience is good.

This is a lovely Filipino restaurant. If you're keen to try this cuisine, I would definitely recommend this place. The Ube mocktail is a must. The Red Horse beer is pretty potent at 8%. The pork sisig,which unfortunately ran out when we tried to order it, was very yummy when I last had it. If you like your pork, the crispy pata is a must. The kinilaw (tuna ceviche) was a lovely appetizer to start of with too. The dessert was an ice cream cake, the sansrival, which was a yummy end to the meal.

Chibog delivers a restaurant presentation of classic and familiar dishes. Not ur typical proportion of serving but you’ll understand why when the food gets delivered right to your table. I just love how the tortang talong was cooked and the Ukoy with its strong yet very nice authentic vinegar sauce. The staff are also friendly. It’s worth trying and we will definitely come back. Thank u Chibog for being bold by bringing Filipino flavours with a twist to Melbourne! All the best!

Food and service were absolutely on point. The environment and decor were just perfect too. Highly recommend this restaurant.
