Extremely disappointed, have to wait 45 mins for the food and find out they handover my food to someone else. They force me to grab the food and wait another 30 mins cooking. Ordered dry stir mix and taste was extremely bad. Never again ordered from this restaurant even though someone else paid for me.

I ate hear with my mother, I got the Laska soup with garlic noodles lobster balls lettuce green leaves prawns & also some other type of clear noodles as well! weighed it up the cost was shocking 45 dollars I mean common yes it does taste nice with the Laska soup! this is overpriced, should be around 30 dollars or less the disappointment was the customer service tall Asian girl with Glasses talking trash in her own language, not sure what she was saying but! she was acting very sarcastic in her behavior the guy next to her was saying not to say anything! at least he has respect, unless they ripped me off with these prices! & also be careful you don't get poisoning or there is bugs in your food, try other places, they will be respectful & more aware how they present them self's to strangers they don't even know.

It’s definitely not No.1 Malatang. You wouldn’t look for No.1 burger at Maccas. So if you’re first timer, highly recommend to try Malatang at the real No.1 Malatang restaurant.I’ve seen this Malatang franchise everywhere in Sydney, and it’s a bold move trying to multiply this highly popular noodle soup. You also have to make your own. Ingredients are exposed to everyone. During the current pandemic period, this is risky. The noodle soup I had was very bland and lacked the depth of flavour. However I like the concept. For these reasons, I give this place 3 bears.

The food was unhygienic. The soup we ordered possibly had a maggot. Could have been more but we didn't even bother to check after that. We let the shop owner know about this. I'm sure this is not the first time as there are other similar reviews. Food inspectors should take a note of this.

No.1 Malatang - Rouse Hill SELLS THE BEST LAKSA I've ever had.My wife Lassie Zia and I went there today and it was awesome. It was the first time too, we've ever done the whole pick your ingredients" thing and it just worked.I went heavy seafood and mushroom and they cooked it to perfection. We also got the Apple Bubble Tea. I hate these sort of drinks

The shop was quite busy on a Saturday midday. Less varieties than city branch but similar to Burwood branch. Lots of seatings available due to location at Rouse Hill shopping center food court. The staff is okay and quick on their feet. Lots of soup broths to choose from - traditional spicy ox bone, mushroom soup, laksa, dry version, etc.

I have been a regular at this Rouse Hill branch for several years but have noticed it's been on a downward slope. Any time I order a soup base other than the classic malatang, it's a good 20-minute wait.I ordered the classic malatang base tonight and as per usual, picked the seafood ingredients in even numbers (2 scallops, 2 fish balls etc). It wasn't until I've almost finished my meal that I noticed a scallop was missing. It was a good sized scallop so am pretty sure it wouldn't have shrunk during the cooking process. Will be giving this branch a miss for a while...

The ‘choose your own topping’ soup concept is unique and I was pleased with the helpful instructions provided. I went with a mix of beef, konjac noodles, spinach, sausage, ramen noodles, and fried tofu and the combination was delicious. The laksa soup was filling and satisfying, however, the price came out to be a bit on the higher side. Overall, I highly recommend No 1 Malatang for a fun and tasty meal!
