Jump Inn Alice Budget Accommodation

We really enjoyed our short time at Jump Inn, the vibes were really cool. The bar area was a really nice area to wind down and have a few drinks.The bed was nice and comfy, especially after spending a few days camping in swags. Our room was nice and clean but perhaps a small bedside table would have been useful for personal belongings. One problem we had was that the water from the shower went all over the bathroom, wetting the toilet area as well. A towel rack or hooks would have been useful to hang towels and clothes in the bathroomBreakfast runs out quickly, so best to get there before 8:00-8:30am if possible.

I really liked staying in the first floor room, all new and very clean. I stayed also in a second floor room, the toilet was dirty.There is a kitchen policy that it closes at night, it was very hard to manage this with our travel schedules, not being able to eat/cook/organize our food at night. It could be something to be changed.There is a bar/restaurant that is very nice and also the pool. We could leave our luggage there for free during tours, what was very nice.We enjoyed our stay anyway.

I enjoyed the stay at Jump Inn. I found it to be very comfortable (best hostel bed I think I've ever slept in!), with a great atmosphere at the bar/lounge area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although I found the walk to town a little longer than what I'd normally feel comfortable doing at night, I would stay again for the overall hostel experience and atmosphere. For improvements however I would suggest a microwave in the kitchen and perhaps a cheaper menu option for backpackers wanting to eat basic and cheap!

Very tasty food and a nice friendly environment. Good tap beer list with unique beers, which is impressive for Alice Springs. Beer fridge can be a little pricey and be sure to check the expiry/best before dates.

I was struck by the friendliness of the staff from the moment I arrived at Jump Inn. Staff were always friendly and courteous and happy to help with any queries. The place itself has an enclosed courtyard with pool, and lots of open air seating, with shelter. The trees in the courtyard provide a cool place to sit when it's hot! The kitchen is well run, and guests follow and respect the way it is run.Decor is fun and funky, and my double room was clean and comfortable - a perfect spot for a few days stay. I shared a bathroom and never had to wait for the facilities.Overall a really lovely experience!

Ideally located (10 min walk from the city center) it is a friendly and warm place. Where life is good ! A nice and competent staff. The rooms and public areas are very clean! Not to mention the bedding that is just amazing (good big comfortable mattress) with a bathroom in each room.The kitchen is functional and overlooks the outdoor pool, great setting ..You also have a bar restaurant that is part of the hostel (big positive after a good day of work, the little beer that goes with!) L and offers concerts every Tuesday night .. and if you live in the hostel you get discount on drinks and meals (quality meal around $ 15 20 with a fairly impressive beer range!)On the negative side in any case for me, the kitchen closes at 10 pm, too early when you usually eat late or when you want to nibble something after 10 .Private parking is usualy full so obliged to park the car in the street and alice springs is a city where Aboriginal children or other tend to break the windows to steal what is inside (currency, cigarette ...) So think about leaving your car open with no valuables and everything will be fine for you!I recommend 100% this hostel which for me is part of the best hostels I've seen in Australia! Great hostel, comfy beds with en-suite bathroom. Small but well-equipped kitchen. Quiet and clean. Friendly staffNice bar/restaurant on the property where you can get some good craft beer or normal beer (with discount)Only location could be a bit better

A good place to sleep, but not much of a social atmosphere. There were a lot of small booths/tables and I found that layout makes it hard to get to know people. Its much more natural when there are big group tables. There didn't seem to be any social events at the hostel while I was there. The beers at the attached bar were very expensive, as was the food. The beer was good and I appreciated the bartender offering suggestions and small samples so that my money was well spent. The food on the other hand was very salty to the point of being unappetizing. The girls I had dinner with also commented that their food was too salty. I ended up leaving every night to go socialize at another hostel because this one just didn't have the atmosphere I was hoping for. Its a fine place to sleep however as the beds are comfy.

I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hostel!I was a little nervous about staying in a young vibrant hostel considering I would need to get up at 5:30/6am both mornings for my tour and return flight... but I'm happy to report a nice, chilled atmosphere, excellent food from the bar and very respectful and quiet guests. Furthermore, I really appreciated how accommodating the staff were, as well as the air conditioning!

Wonderful place to stop before/after a tour, I only stayed 1 night and would have been happy to stay more. Comfortable mattress, bathroom attached to dorm room and reasonably quiet. Breakfast included, kitchen to prepare your own food or great meals available at the bar. Friendly staff and there was even entertainment in an open mic night when i stayed. Recommended and i would stay again.
