This place always delivers. Awesome selection of beers, great food (although I wouldn’t a few more vegan options) and never met a staff member that wasn’t kind, enthusiastic and helpful. Tuesday night trivia run by the big cheese Matty V is top notch every time. Stoked to have a local spot like this!

Great pub with excellent friendly service. They even checked with a neighbouring store when my partner wanted a hot chocolate which they didn’t have on the menu. The food was excellent and the craft beer selection was good. There is lots of charm and while there is more than one Four Pines this is definitely an independent business that is well worth supporting.

Great food, great service, great beer. Had a wonderful Sunday roast and a pint on Easter Sunday with my family. The only suggestion I’d make is offering a kids size portion of the Sunday roast.

The relaxed atmosphere and hospitality of Luke and his team make this a great place to stop by for a beer and food. The locals are welcoming and happy to chat, the food menu is fairly simple but well cooked and with generous portions, the daily specials are interesting and exciting.The beers are well kept and the guest beers are rotated regularly.Having been in the hospitality industry for a long time, I know the importance of a customer focused approach. Everyone is greeted with a smile and a friendly word, the beers and the food are great, the variety of the background music playlists is spot on, the seating is comfortable, the lighting is ambient and the place is spotless.It is important to support our local businesses and equally important to acknowledge them, especially post Covid. So thank you Luke and your team, please keep up the good work, it is most appreciated.Martin Matthews

Tasty food and Top notch 'Keller Door' beers. A Red Ale, poured through Nitro to get a Guiness-like finish, and a rarity of a Vienna Lager (Google that!!..)

Went for happy hour, stayed for the food, super yum, had the special fish and chips delicious and the tartare sauce is so good! Great pub and nice to see some live music. Staff also 10 outta 10!

Had an amazing evening at the Four Pines in Newport last Saturday. It was their birthday event and the place was packed and rocking. Great live music from Scoot the Loot and the support act, the Blue Reds and service, beer, food and atmosphere were all fantastic. Highly recommended.

Has a quirky comfortable atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. Let us taste some beers first, I really enjoyed the draught. Very light and refreshing! Great variety of food available, including vegetarian options. Pumpkin salad with falafel was delish! Definitely recommend!

BRING YOUR PARTY TO THE 4 PINES NEWPORT!!!I arranged my sons 21st birthday party at the 4 pines Newport. Luke was so accommodating with lots of suggestions on what he could do. He organized a whole section of the pub, put aside for us in this beautiful location. On the day the whole team catered so beautifully for us, around 30 people. Luke and the team he's put together are truly awesome, food just kept coming and service was excellent. The team kept me well informed on the bar tab so I was always in control. I cannot praise them enough, everyone that came had such an excellent time, would recommend them heartily. Excellent fun to have the pub environment around us with our party going on. So, bring your party here.. 30 people can't be wrong!!!
