2024: Feb. Great meal out with a friend. All entrees servings to share. Flash fried Calamari, Greek chicken skewers & hommus, fries with aioli, Bruchetta & goats cheese on Sourdough toast, Golden crummed cauliflower, And a bottle of Chain of Fire Merlot. Delicious meal. Complemenrs to the chef. Very friendly staff2022: Sunny, the golden Retriever, enjoying the view while we all had a coffee on the deck today.

Unfortunately the food is the let down here. $160 for the seafood platter yet half the plate was full of fruit. Garlic prawns came out cold and limited options and small quantities for a share plate. To top it off, no sauces came out or cutlery. Although my open feedback to staff was taken well, the free drink provided didn't take away the fact that I'm out of pocket of $160. Other meals came out looking good but proved to be tasteless. View however is amazing and vibe inviting. Please review menu and produce to turn this location as the place to be. Sorry, only 2 stars from me based on location.

Fairly quiet and pleasant. Great views to the south east. Reasonably quick service and the meals, Whiting and Chicken Parmigiana, were nice. We often come here for Saturday morning coffee, too.

We recently had our baby shower AT Sunny's and it was the most magical day! Lon went out of his way to organise the rooftop for us even though we weren't sure how the weather would turn out for us but it was perfect! Above and beyond service. Ensured everything was to how I wanted. The food platters were delicious and incredible presentation. A wonderful afternoon and highly recommend if anyone is having an event or function.

Overall 2 starsFOOD. On the menu a Flank steak sold as an alternative to Rib. Told it was a cut from below the Rib. Very wrong information. This steak is a extremely cheap cut, sold for $12 per kilo on the Menu $36 On searching, Flank steak is a cut of beef taken from the abdominal muscles of the cow, located just behind the plate and in front of the rear quarter. It is a long, flat cut with a significant grain, and is known for its bold flavor and is very chewy and tough This is a slow cooked piece of meat. Not a steak for the grill. Why do they sell it, cause they dont know their cuts of meat.Service The staff were very friendly and politeAtmosphere create your own.

Just stopped by Looking for a place to eat lunch while enjoying the beautiful views . And wow does this place have the views . It’s just slightly elevated with a few steps at the front ( ramp access from the side back by the look of it ) . Food was tasty and a little expensive. But I guess you are paying for that view . We did feel like paying $25 + for lunch so we got items off the starter menu . I can’t remember the exact prices but it was over $52 for 2 coffees and 2 starters . Meals weren’t huge but adequate in size . Quality was good though . Worth going to for the view . Not sure where the roof top bar is or how you get to it but I want to go back to find out .

First time at Sunny’s Margate and will definitely be back! So many wonderful options to choose from on the menu. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak. Was the best meals we have had in a long time. My husband loved the steak and it was cooked to perfection…which is a big deal coming from him!! Friendly staff, very accommodating. 10/10

good place for Sunday lunch with family.. Tasty food (big portions- had to takeaway leftovers). comfortable indoor bistro seating, cafe style ordering, and good selection of food and drinks.Would recommend booking for weekend lunch as it was packed busy. online booking very easy
