Allora House Kalgoorlie

Alison and her husband were so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were impeccable and comfortable. Cannot fault our experience at the Allora house and highly recommend it!

This boutique accommodation worked perfectly for us. We arrived by train and only had to walk 5 minutes to this heritage house. We were assigned the back half of the house furnished with comfy furniture. There was a small but well equipped kitchen. Bathroom with shower and toilet. It is incredibly quiet. Each bedroom had a good queen bed, air con and tv. The house is about 200 metres from the toirist info. There is a nice rear garden with an abundance of vegetables.The hosts Alison and Carl were very helpful with advice including restaurants. Thanks for a great few days.

A wonderful mini holiday in Kalgoorlie at level 3 covid restrictions in WA staying at Allora House. Good to get out of the city!Excellent location one block from the train station & two blocks from the tourist information centre. Fab for walkers who don't want to hire a car & arrive by Prospector train.Very comfortable beds, clean, lovely garden outlook. Beautifully restored heritage home. Self contained area at rear of house, over looking back garden.Allison & Carl happy to be available for advice or information.Stay fit & keep walking buddies, Vicki & Sue.

Such a beautifully restored heritage listed cosy place to stay. From the warm welcome from Allison and Carl to the delicious homegrown produce. Kalgoorlie is full of history and great times. Highly recommend.

A hidden gem…or shall we say gold. What a beautiful place - warm welcoming hosts; clean & cosy; plenty of space for our family of 5; tranquil gardens that were amazing for bird watching; close to everything we needed & tourist attractions within a short drive; safe & secure. We almost missed booking Allora, thinking it might not be the right configuration for a family but we were so pleased to have found out that in fact it was perfect. 3 spacious rooms & our own living/dining area; kitchen (indoor & outdoor options) & bathroom /toilet. Loved our visit & would highly recommend staying here!

It's a rare thing to find a place to stay at such short notice with such high standards.After a long week out camping (roughing it) we were too tired to set up camp again so at 4pm on a Sunday I called asking if there were any rooms. We have stayed in a few hotels around the place and why oh why did we not seek out the beautiful Allora house before. It has old charm and character along with clean and comfortable beds (which surprisingly seems to be a difficult thing for most to supply) we were only there for a night but it's definitely our go to place when ever in Kalgoorlie. Lovely hosts, beautiful cozy, comfy, nice private section of the house ( if no other guests there. ) Highly recommended!

Allison and Carl are wonderful, gracious, respectful, smart and helpful hosts. The house is a gorgeous old heritage building only a very short stroll from the city centre and train station. Security and privacy abound at a great price.With all the hotels now feeling like mining camps, it's refreshing to have flexibilty and personalised service in a comfortable setting.

I had a wonderful time staying with Allison and Carl. Their house is beautiful and clean, they are very welcoming hosts. They always go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Couldn’t recommend them more highly! Thanks for my wonderful stay with you.
