Goondiwindi Tourist Park
Park was clean and well kept. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. We camped and had a lovely spot on the bank off the dam close to the amenities and camp kitchen. We ahd a lovely rime in Goondiwindi and would definitely recommend the park.

5 stars for any place that allows dogs in the cabins and can still keep it clean! We got the cabin right near to the pool and bbq area, which maybe helped my opinion, it was perfect for us and friendly owners. Beautiful clean pool.

We had a nice afternoon relaxing at the park for our one night stay. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a long days drive and the owner/manager was very friendly. We had a dog friendly cabin at the back of the park which was quite private. My negatives are as follows..Wifi was non existent in our room and the best wifi at the bbq area was at its best patchy. The room had all that was needed and I always appreciate places that accept furry family members but I do think it was a little over priced for a one nt stay in a basic cabin ($160)…And I’m just comparing it to other places I have stayed.

A 5 star review as the experience has matched my expectations. Our cabin is old and basic but functional with a small bathroom area, inside looks like a commercial fridge and has see through curtains with no blackout, but we are traveling with a dog so expect less of our accommodation. I really appreciate the good air conditioning, but the tv remote didn’t work. The shower was lovely, the grounds are well kept and the pool was much needed. The unit was 24, near the dam, so bird noise early on. Bring ear plugs. The grounds are very well maintained.A great place for a nights stopover.

Cotton tour a real highlight. Possums ran over the van roof several times at night. Magpie geese abound. Water pressure not too high. Lots of drive through spots. Lots of cabins. Toilets and showers recently renovated.

Last minute book in with my dogs. Cabin had everything I needed. Very clean, aircon worked well and was super quiet. Best sleep I've had since arriving in Gundy. Dogs were happy and slept well. Park had quite a few vans there but was very quiet and relaxing. Short drive to town for Chinese.. Very nice staff., better than motel in town I think.

First caravan park off the Newell hwy when you come into Goondiwindi. Excellent camping sites. We were next to the billabong. The camp kitchen is ok, has a fridge/freezer, microwave and kettle. The facilities overall are quite spacious, the showers have a little ledge on the back of the door with a chain and a hook, quite nifty. However the shower I used, the ledge didn't have a hook, so pointless for me. Sadly only one set of toilets for the entire park, as the other toilets were out of order. The laundry is spacious and it's the first time I've seen a washing machine with a tap and pay system rather than having change. Very impressed and forward thinking as many don't carry change! Camp sites are either drive through, or reverse in for Billabong sites. There is an option of an ensuite campsite, for a price. Dog friendly sites. Has both cabins and camping or caravan both powered and unpowered sites. Would stay again, recommend a billabong site.
