Purchased some pre marinated American style pork spareribs,normally I would marinate them myself but I had limited time. Well done great tasting ribs

When asked to extend a little bit to serve the customer, the staff at Bruce’s meat failed because they could not be bothered.I bought a Meater+ cooking probe and some meat. I wanted the tax receipt to my Meater+ kept separate from my fresh meat. I was served by Lauren, who accidentally put both items together on the same receipt. I asked if that could be reversed. While Lauren said she didn’t know who to do it and ask for help, the two other men who worked in the store just could not be bothered and said: “it is gone through the register, nothing can be done”.We all know every point-of-sale system allows for refunds and error correction. You can’t operate a store with a point of sale if operator errors cannot be corrected.I have shopped at Bruce’s meat for years but, today will be my last visit.01/02/2021The team from Bruce's meat responded within the day with an offer to reissue the tax invoices.

I am in a state of disbelief. I just bought some meat at your shop, and the older lady who served me used her bare hands! When I asked her if she normally uses tongs, gloves or a plastic bag she replied “no... I was my hands regularly!” This is certainly not a good look. We are living through a dreadful pandemic and are all encouraged to practice good hygiene. Even if we weren’t experiencing COVID19 this is still not a good look and certainly runs the risk of cross infections etc. Whilst this time I only purchased sausages I just could not bring myself to eat them and serve them to the family, therefore I have thrown them out and will repurchase some elsewhere after work. My family friends and colleagues all shop in the area and I feel I owe it to them to share my experience as I know I would really appreciate it if they did the same. One very disappointed customer here!

Meat is pretty good, little on the expensive side but not out of the ordinary. It's a shame they don't respect their customers enough to wear their masks over their nose and mouth (if they wore them at all). I understand it's uncomfortable and not fun for the staff, but unfortunately COVID doesn't care too much about that. There are lots of vulnerable people who shop there, so they owe it to their customers to do their part.
