I recently purchased and installed an alloy roof tent rack for my NM Pajero. Customer service was very good. The roof rack was ok quality although the welds are a bit messy and the paint seems to come off quite easily (you get what you pay for in this regard). Fitting was quite a task on my own as it involved removing most of the headliner and air con ducts as well as drilling the roof and grinding off a couple of the metal tabs that hold the roof rubber strips in place but it was quite doable once I got my head around the poorly translated and vague instructions. I was also two bolts, nuts and washers short which cost me the best part of $20 to buy new.It took me about a day and a half on my own.Overall I'm happy with my purchase, the rack seems very solid and secure. Just know that these racks are cheaper for a reason.

Worst experience ever. The bloke won't return phone calls let alone answer the phone. No response via email. This rack is 4 months old, used twice on unsealed roads and this is what happened. Cracked. Would not recommend to anyone.

If you want terrible customer service, and the shop owner to curse at you and be physical with you, you’ve found the right place!The shop owner LAID HIS HANDS on two customers, because the shop owner simply couldn’t handle negative product feedback.Good luck trying to keep this business afloat when you have a shop owner that likes to get physical and assault their customers.

Purchased a roof rack, when putting it together it seems like the bolts supplied weren't long enough & nuts were missing, emailed the shop to see if I was making a mistake or not, I was told to call, when I called the owner just told me that in 18 years they have never sent out wrong parts. Refused to admit that not enough nuts were sent through, and that the bolts weren't correct, or tell me if I was even putting it together correctly.If the owner reads this, please tell me how I am supposed to fit a washer & nut (that I don't even have) on the remaining thread.EDIT:After buying more 20mm bolts, along with extra washers & nuts, the roof rack is installed. I would highly recommend the product itself, however as per the reply from the store I would suggest that they work on their customer service.

Purchased LandCruiser Prado 120 Fully Enclosed Deluxe Alloy Roof Rack 2200x1250mm. Great product, well built, well packaged. It took about 9 hours to install, including removing the prado roof rails. There are 2 items to install, the base which attaches to the existing roof rail holes and the cage which attaches to this. Very fiddly installation of cage as not a lot of space to work in, between the roof and the rack to do up nuts. None or little wind noise. Looks great with a set of rack mounted LED lights! Would purchase from this dealer again.

I initially left a very positive review for this business however, after three weeks of using the roof rack, my car has began to rust as a result of these poorly designed products. I should note that my friend and I have identical new cars and have the exact same product installed, and are experiencing the same issues, the same length of time after installation.During installation, I noticed multiple flakes/balls of aluminum coming out of holes in the frame, i didn't think to much of it at the time, until checking my gutters when washing my car i noticed bright orange exactly where the feet of the roof rack are placed, in these feet, the balls of aluminum" were found to have scrapped layers of paint off the vehicle

Save yourself the trouble and get a local fabricator to make you a roof rack. The quality of the flat rack (and likely all the racks is terrible). We had a custom fabricated one on our last van and it was great.Nothing but regret for purchasing the Aussie Auto Parts one. The powder coating can scratch off in sections with your finger and after loading just 1 ladder on the whole top of the roof rack is back to metal in sections.NOT QUALITY AT ALLParts were missing from the kit, including mounting bolts that had no thread yet. Not to mention the terrible rail design that accumulates water and makes sealing it water tight extremely difficult. We have used silicon, rubbery butyl spray and tapes in an attempt to get it sorted - but the terrible design makes it so difficult.If the quality was better or if you simply offered non-powder coated versions - the review might be different. But when you spend over $1k on a roof rack, you'd expect it to not look terrible after 1 use (without even driving it on the road yet)Further in response to the owners reply below:Yes that is all true, but the continuing scratching of the powder coating is not quality, nor is it something that can be continually touched upIf you think it's a quality roof rack, I suggest you go look at others on the market or at least stop powder coating your racksAnd in regards to the siliconing, the installation guide you sent doesn't specify that anywhere. We did that anyway and it caused leaks in other areas (not down through the bolts)Yet again, I'd recommend anyone looking to buy, go elsewhere!

I am not sure why this business has had some negative reviews. They were really easy to deal with, I was a little confused with the instructions and they sent me photos to help me out. They were very friendly and the Commuter Bus Roof Racks were really simple to install, I read someone took 9 hours to install. Not sure what happened there, I am a female with no experience and put it together with the help of the images in a few hours. Highly recommend. :)

Just finished fitting their roof rack to my Landcruiser flatray.I read all the bad reviews and decided to give this guy a positive plug.The rack is very well finished except maybe the paint is a bit thin but overall it is well made and fitted perfectly with stainless bolts, washers and nuts, all packaged seperately and correct numbers. Everything was bubble wrapped and arrived in express time.I would recommend this companies product, no worries

I am very happy with the roof racks that these guys put on my Hyundai I Load.It’s been installed well and is perfect for my ladders.I almost cancelled because of some reviews I saw but I’m glad I ignored them because Ronnie was good to deal with.Thanks
