Coragulac House

Everything was amazing. Monash house is peaceful and situated perfectly for a quiet and private weekend.Only issue was the comfort of the beds.

Great one night stay with our family and pup. Gary the host met us and was very helpful and friendly and shared some things to do, red rock, sunset or a good feed at the local hotel. Accomodation has some great history as does the homestead. Thanks for having us.

Sharyn and Garry were exceptional!We had our wedding at the beautiful Coragulac House in April 2022. We first met Sharyn and Garry in July 2021 and they went above and beyond to ensure things were how we wanted them. They were very helpful and we commend them on their organisational skills in the lead up to our big day. They were friendly, good at communicating and were always there to lend a helpful hand. We are still in awe of the stunning property and couldn’t recommend this venue enough. The surrounding locations for photos are breathtaking.

We visited this fascinating property yesterday, for the open day and a very well conducted tour with Sharyn, who is delightful, very easy to listen, to and was able to impart a mass of information on the history of the property and other historic properties. We would certainly recommend people take the time to visit on, one of the next 4 Sunday's for further open days. Be sure to look up at the magnificent ceilings, and take the time to sit on the front veranda where a soft cool breeze kissed my checks and facilitated imaginations of times gone by. The nearby area is abound with luscious green, curvaceous hills and the view from Red Rock lookout surveys the entire area-also well worth a visit. Corangamite Lake Road is a turn off from the Princes Highway west of Colac. The property at 895 Corangamite Lake Road Coragulac, is on the left when approaching from the Princess Highway.

Absolutely enjoyed the tour of Coragulac House. A magnificent building and tastefully restored. Glad to contribute to the ongoing restoration.

What a gem! We stayed in the very clean and comfortable Monash Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. Lots to see and do: Red Rock lookout, lovely pub meal at Beeac, stepping off point for Birregurra and the Otways. Garry took us on a really interesting tour of Coragulac House to finish our stay.

We were blown away by Monash cottage!! The pictures dont do it justice and everything you could possibly need is provided!!! Sharryn and Gary are the perfect hosts..... even when we unintentionally locked ourselves out and disrupted their dinner to get the spare!!! The property is spectacular and the homestead is magnificent! Pet friendly is an understatement and we will definetly be back again and again !! Thanks so much for providing such a wonderful stay!!

One of our favourite places to revisit! We always are warmly welcomed and enjoy staying in the fully independent maids quarters where we can enjoy the peace and quiet or go to nearby towns and see the beautiful countryside. The homestead is absolutely a must see too!
