Bark-A-Bit Boarding Kennels

Ok kennels - could be more dog friendly setup.

These guys looked after my extremely spoilt boys who at 10 have never boarded before. They came home happy as so have no qualms booking them in this June while I'm away for my son's wedding. High recommend these animal loving people.

Good care taken with my dog, and very loving people, I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there.

My dogs were starving hungry when I picked them up! I have a blue cattle dog he's a good size dog and 1 cup of biscuits a day is in no way enough food for him.

Wonderful experience with Lucy and Ben, i have used bark a bit kennels for many years and have always been happy with their service, they looked after the needs of my ever so fussy pup and what I thought was an extra bonus was that Lucy kept me updated on how my pup was going through messages and videos.

Sad to leave a 1 star review, but someone had to do it. March 2022 we dropped our cat to board for a week with Bark-a-bit kennels. I was nervous at first as the room that we were told to put our cat in had card board boxes everywhere, paper rubbish everywhere, no litter boxes could be seen and it wreaked like cat urine. There was no cat toys or platforms, litterally nothing for a cats enjoyment. The lady that was relieving for the owner didn't even shut the sliding door properly. We rang to check up on our cat and was told she was fine, she had the place to herself as no other cats were boarding. When we picked her up, she was hiding on tip of the stacked cages under multiple beds, she absolutely stunk of wee, she was terrified and not the same cat she was when we dropped her off. A few months later, her behaviour was so bad that we booked her in to put her down due to becoming so violent that no one could come near her. CT Cat Rescue ended up saving her and rehabilitating her. I would not recommend this place for your cats!
