love this pub, becoming me and my families favourite. definitely a wise choice to book for any busy days but worth it. always looking forwards to thursday night steak night. great staff, great environment, love all the dogs that sit outside/walk past

The team at the Royston are amazing, the steak night is the best in 3121 and the service is always brilliant. Shoutout to Jake, who is equal parts hilarious and personal, going out of his way to offer a memorable experience. Thanks guys!

First time I've been back here in over 7 years. Not much has changed at this institutional pub. Great Sunday Roast for $26. Classic casual pub. Good variety of beers on tap including a hand pump for those creamy brown ales.Staff were friendly, footy was on in the bar and place was clean.

Hard to fault the food at all. Big fan of a their burgers including the tiny sliders that came out for the toddler in the group. The roast pork was outstanding.Great pub away from the main street, parking wasn't an issue at the time. Plenty of free spots around.

While I live in Footscray (just love that realness), I'm regularly in Richmond and the Royston feels like a second home. The locals know this place serves up some of Melbourne's best pub food. It could be heaving on a Friday night and there's never any drama.

Great selection of beers on tap.Service all around was cheery and prompt.Entrees were top notch.Only negative was the sauces with my steak... The red wine jus was waay too salty and the peppercorn sauce was flavourless. Would've been good if something had been done, maybe replace, when I pointed it out to our waitress.
