Experienced staff with a great knowledge base to help provide recommendations. My children have enjoyed the author workshops during the holidays. The active Facebook feed provides info on the latest books too.

Great bookshop catering to all readers, of all ages. Staff helpful in finding books or recommending something to read or able to order if not in stock. My grand daughters enjoy coming and always find something to read. I even find some books. Good to encourage our grandchildren to read.

I visited this company's bookstore when I was a teenager at high school and experienced very, very cold and rude customer service. When I sent an email to the company detailing my experience, I received no reply at all from The Children's Bookshop. Thank you, seriously, for your clear and immense kindness and consideration.

I LOVE THIS BOOKSHOP! I come here every Saturday after Piano, and it always lights up my day. When I'm in there, the familiar shelves fill me with joy, and seeing them adorned with new books always gives me a rush of excitement. Staff are amazing, the events I have been to there have been fun and well organised. This bookshop deserves everything!

Staff genuinely care about children's literacy. Range is excellent and service is awesome. They run many activities in the school holidays and on weekends which my son has attended and enjoyed. Books cost a couple of dollars more than at big w but I think it's important to support small businesses that make a big effort.

When I visited this book shop I noticed that alot of the series I was looking for didn't include every book in that series. But there were many enjoyable children's books there. But near the back of the shop you will find the more mature book for adults, there are not alot to choose from though.

This bookshop is my happy place. The recommendations from the staff and the beautiful store displays are next to none. There are always incredible events and awesome opportunities. I've gone out of my way to come to this bookshop for years. If you're looking for people who love books, here's where you'll find them!

I must say that I haven't come across this level of great customer service in a while. This place has a lovely feel from the moment you step in. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They go out of their way to guide you and make your experience delightful. I was just there to buy a gift for my daughters random birthday invitation and the guy at the counter just made my whole book buying experience so beautiful. He not only helped me choose the book, but even gift wrapped in the most beautiful way. Everything was beyond what I had asked for and expected. Me and my daughter would like to thank CBS and staff for a memorable shopping experience.
