Made to Matter

Without hesitation, I can say that working with Made to Matter has been one of the the best experiences we have EVER had. Full stop. From the very first meeting, Ben and Harry were transparent, honest, generous with their time, detailed, fastidious, and incredibly professional. We were never in doubt as to what was offered, what things would cost, what things would look like, when things would be delivered, when the project would be complete. And the workmanship is second to none. I can confidently say that our kitchen is one of the most beautiful kitchens you will EVER see. Nothing is half-done. No corners were cut (with the exception of our beautiful curved bench!) The materials were both beautiful and ethically sourced, and Ben and Harry went out of their way to account for our desire and our budget when it came to sourcing, labour, and materials. I have no doubt that anyone walking into our kitchen would be amazed at the craftsmanship and design. And what beautiful, decent men, too! I will recommend Made to Matter to everyone I know until my dying breath.

We needed a wall hung TV cabinet for our loungeroom.The space is confined but prominent and required a sympathetic creation that even custom made" couldn't accommodate as they still seem to operate from their template. This is where Matter came in.The unit had to hide the TV cables and related paraphernalia and give symmetry to the TV in the space.This required discussions between Harry and Ben at Matter

As everyone else notes, working with Ben and Harry and their staff Rita and Ashley is an absolute pleasure. They were the only company that understood my brief to create a more unusual floor-to-ceiling bookshelf and entertainment unit with a library ladder but they nailed it. Along the way they were thorough and frank about the costs, time frame and potential issues. They delivered high-quality work and constantly came up with out-of-the-box ideas for any conundrums. I recommend them thoroughly and they are a real pleasure to work with.

Harry and Ben are brilliant artisans. I had a TV cabinet and bookshelf made by them. They designed the furniture themselves, and then helped me choose the type of wood I wanted. They explained the process to me and were upfront about costs and timing. They were also able to have custom-made steel brackets made for both. They were extremely professional, always checking in with me, providing me with updates, and always coming back to me if they needed me to make decisions. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for beautiful custom-made furniture of outstanding quality.

What exceptional people and what an exceptional company. I couldn't rate Made to Matter higher! They're professionalism, communication, quality and service is far beyond any design or trades I've ever worked with. My kitchen is truly the most beautiful kitchen imaginable thanks to the craftsmanship and epic design and execution of Ben and Harry. We can't wait to work with them again!
