We've had a wonderful experience in the construction of our new screened gable patio. John and his Spanline team were great to work with. Patio was constructed in good time and is a quality addition to our home. We were lucky enough to have it completed before the torrential rain arrived and are extremely pleased with no leaks! I've had my patio extension for more than 10 years. During our east coast low weather systems I've had a leak. John has been fantastic in identifying the problem and offering a solution. Johns assistance is greatly appreciated. AND he provides excellent customer service. A shout to Matt as well who was extremely supportive when I called.

We had a great experience with Spanline Newcastle. From initial measure and quote with Matt, to completion of the job in just 31/2 days. The price was really good compared to others, the quality is great and the job started and completed weeks earlier than Matt had expected. The builder who erected the carport, Anthony, was fantastic, his attention to detail was really pleasing. He and his son turned up on time when they said and worked until sundown, They always kept the site very tidy so we didn't have to worry about sharp debris laying about. We had a problem with a leak after a polycarb sheet on our patio roof cover slipped out of it's fixing 18 months after the job was finished. After reporting it to Spanline we had a couple of visits from the boss, John O'Connor, firstly to review the problem after which he came back and personally repaired it. Most impressed with this level of service and we would highly recommend Spanline Newcastle.

Very happy with the end result but the process of getting our new room added was a nightmare at best. Finished more than 9 months after originally being promised at time of sign up. The company changed owners between the time we paid our deposit and work begun and our addition was somewhat outside the capability of the new team. Little or no communication from the staff until the owner got involved. His communication was very good and he tried to get it back on track as much as possible. Things happen and people are generally understanding when kept informed but this is something these guys really missed. I even contacted Spanline head office who were absolutely no help, didn't really want to know anything about it. Don't kid yourself that you are getting the backing and warranty of a big, well known company. Spanline will only provide their longer warranty on items which they supply, which will probably only be the roof.

Experience was average, job cost increased once deposit secured. I was then passed over to contractors for scheduling of work and re-work.Customer satisfaction does not seem to be a priority for Spanline Newcastle.
