Silkwood Stars Kindergarten and Early Learning Centre

My daughter has attended this centre from 1 year old and is about to finish her 4 year old kinder year & off to school next year.I can't speak highly enough of the educators and management. They genuinely love the children & care for them with patience, kindness and gentleness. My daughter has thrived and learnt so much. She comes home with new knowledge everyday, from the basic ABCs & numbers and also learning about different cultures, equality, history and geography. She had made wonderful friends and loves the fun activities the centre provide.We will miss the staff and all they have brought to our daughter.If you are looking for a family run centre with loving, experienced staff & nurturing environment, this is the centre for you.

Silkwood Star have such warm, caring & loving staff. I feel so at ease leaving my daughter here & every time i pick her up she is all smiles. The centre offers so many great activities i have seen my daughter grow & learn so many new skills from being here only 2 days a week. I would highly reccomend this beautiful childcare centre to families in the area.

5 Star daycare! Recommended! We have been going to Silkwood Stars for a long time. All of our kids are happy to go to daycare at Silkwood Stars. After having 12 years experience in the childcare industry, some of these years in higher management traveling many States I am proud to say that Silkwood Stars would have to be the best centre that I have ever come across.Our middle child was at another centre and we needed to put our youngest into care, having to start back at work six months earlier than expected. After having a few orientations at our old centre I would walk out of there crying not knowing what I was going to do, our middle child had one more year till school and there was no way I was going to leave my baby in the babies room.So off I went very dishearted looking at many centres in the Rowville area, I was just about at the end of my tither when I came across SILKWOOD STARS, as soon as I walked into the centre I felt at ease, bright, clean and friendly faces.Both of our youngest children have attended Silkwood Stars for one year now. Our middle child is off to school next year and thanks to the AMAZING kinder program that the centre runs they have fully prepared our child for school well above where she needs to be.Our youngest Son I feel runs the centre, he is in the babies room but he loves all of the teachers, I am pretty sure he visits most rooms and all teachers always have their arms wide open for him. Before leaving the centre at night our daughter runs around hugging all of the teachers and our son likes to kiss all of the ladies.Most important the centre has routine, the children know what to expect from their teachers and each other during the day, any time of the day you visit the children are always settled no matter what experience they are doing. The teachers are loving talented and everything they do is for the children. Janti and Persanta are the owners of Silkwood, they are often at the centre morning and night and they care as much for the children as the teachers do. Staff turnover over is next to nothing and 99% of the teachers are either older ladies or parents, so they have an amazing connection with the children. The two young girls are fantastic too being taught by great leaders.A BIG thankyou to all of the team at Silkwood Stars we only wish we found you years ago.

I love this childcare. My daughter has been here almost a year and has flourished socially and also intellectually.I feel as though the staff put 110% effort in with each child. Ever since my daughter has been attending Silkwood Stars, she has come back home with constructive work, her counting and alphabet reading skills have improved and her drawing is quite detailed and has meaning.Soon I will be taking my youngest daughter here and I know that she too will have the same care and attention as my other girl.Highly recommend this childcare!

After being at a larger ‘franchise’ childcare we moved our son to Silkwood Stars and we cannot be more happier or grateful. Unlike a franchise childcare, Silkwood stars are a smaller and intimate childcare. They know their children and they work exceptionally hard to ensure they are meeting the needs of each individual. The care that Silkwood Stars has shown to my family, particularly my son is incomparable. From their daily routines to their friendly and warm staff and their beautiful home cooked meals, Silkwood stars ticks all the boxes. My son loves going and adores his educator. His interpersonal and intrapersonal skills have develop extensively as well. My anxiety was high, as most mothers are when they have to leave their child in the care of others, but I can honestly say at Silkwood stars it is like family looking after my son. I’m so thankful we found Silkwood stars and would recommend them to anyone .

My twins have been going to silkwood stars since they were 2 and are now in the 4yo kinder program.The staff have been amazing and take great care of my children along with being easy to talk to about their progress. They have given them a great start to progressing into school.I can't fault them and would highly recommend the facility and staff to anyone looking for a centre to send their children to.

My daughter's first day care centre and we all love the centre so much.Sadly, due to work arrangement we have to enrol her in a different centre closer to home.As soon as she started with the new centre we felt the difference.Silkwood stars management and the staff are very flexible, caring and more like family.As parents we loved the care and attention given to our daughter. She really enjoyed her time and we were never disappointed.Thank you very much for all the love and support you expressed to every child.If we have to re enrol our daughter for a centre in future Silkwood Stars would be our first option.

My children have attened silkwood stars for the past 3 years. The changes my partner and i have noticed in our 2 boys since starting at this centre have been amazing. The staff are so loving towards the children and we feel so happy to be a part of this community and so grateful to the staff for all the help
