The Mainstay Farmstay

We had an amazing family holiday at The Mainstay Farmstay. There was plenty of space for us all, equipped with everything you need and beautifully styled.Close to different beach options, if you're looking for the best surfing beaches or want to relax in the calm crystal blue waters at Seal Rocks. We also did the walk to the lighthouse, which was a great morning activity.A highlight was waking up with the sunshine coming through the windows, the birds singing and then seeing the kangaroos jumping past the cabin.Highly recommend The Mainstay, we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and had some great family connection time.

This place is a little gem. If you’re after peace and quiet and a restful break off the grid, look no further. The space is wonderful, the host has though about it all, with extra towel, soaps, games, books etc. There are great facilities such as a washer dryer, yoga mats and work out gear in the shed and lots of wildlife around. Do yourself a favour. Would stay again and recommend!

This place is unreal. From the moment we arrived we managed to unwind. The location is second to none, the styling and fit out is like something from an interior magazine- thoughtful and quirky touches everywhere. It is sparkling clean and some of the best beds ever. This place is magic.

Absolutely love this place! I have stayed here 3 times now - solo and with friends and family. It is near my favourite beach ever but in a quiet location away from tourists. It is designed so well with so many special touches that you notice over your stay and just appreciate. I love spending all day just laying and reading and switching off. There is a games room with books as well and lovely Italian beauty products to purchase. I never want to leave. Cannot recommend highly enough!! You must see it for yourself.

The mainstay is a glorious place to get away from your troubles and relax. It’s beautifully set up, has everything you need, the hosts respond immediately and are so lovely to communicate with. The grounds are calming to walk around and pick local flowers, plants and fruit, spot the local kangaroos, and it’s a quick drive to some beautiful beaches. Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely place near a really awesome surfing area with impressive beach. We only had a short but great stay. The place is equipped with everything we needed for living, cooking, enjoying. Wifi signal a bit low and barely reception but that’s part of the experience, right??
