Hawkesbury River Oyster Shed
Heard plenty of good things about this place and recommended by friends on multiple occasions. Was looking for a quick stop and bite on the way up to Port Stephen’s and thought we would drop into Hawkesbury River Oyster Farm - just WOW! What a great spot it is located in and a breathtaking view whilst you eat their super fresh seafood. We had a bucket of prawns and they were delicious and sweet - I’ve never had cooked prawns this good before. We also had, fresh, Japanese and Korean style oysters - I would recommend just having them fresh - delicious! Also, had their in-house jerky and it was amazing. A place you have to try if you haven’t already!

Hawkesbury River Oyster Shed
This place has amazing seafood and a great view. We took my 99 year old Dad here today for his birthday because it is his favourite restaurant. The prawns and Sydney Rock Oysters were so fresh and tasty. The guy who served us was really helpful and we loved the Saturday afternoon singer and guitarist.

Super fresh yummy oyster served with option of different dressing as well as the prawns.Beautiful setup next to hawkesbury river, perfect for brunch or long lunch on gorgeous sunny dayDefinitely will come back for more

Hawkesbury River Oyster Shed
A nice and relaxing place to get your oyster fix. Looking forward to going back. I arrived around 1:30pm on a Sunday and it was packed. They ran out of Pacific oysters by the time I got to order. Waited about fifteen minutes in line. The prawns were amazing. Scallops were well prepared and highly recommend them. The staff are very hard working and do an incredible job dealing with everyone. Great little system of bringing back your plates and scraps to a central location helps with keeping the place tidy and running efficiently. Bathroom facilities available on site. You can walk over a bit to the other side of the place to the local pearl shop nearby, and the RSL for a drink or coffee afterwards.

Hawkesbury River Oyster Shed
We had a short breakfast stop here on recent Sunday and had a few scallops and oysters to enjoy. The foods were fresh and nice, while the scenery was nice as well. Prices on the menu are quite premium, but expected from this tourism spot. The place is busy on weekend since the location is quite accessible from Sydney's north shore suburbs.The place has big outdoor dining area overlooking Hawkesbury River, so ambience is quite nice especially in nice clear-sky day. Customer services from staff members are reasonable considering they're busy on weekend. You can pay with credit cards with no additional surcharge.

A lovely oyster shed with magnificent views. They offer a range of oysters and other seafood options such as tiger prawns and smoke salmon. Highly recommended as a day trip.

Taste - 5/5Value -5/5Definitely worth detouring to this place if you are around the area. Came here for fresh oysters and prawns and it was worth it, the oysters are one of the best I had around Sydney, and the prawns were meaty and sweet. Would definitely swing by again next time I am around here
