Aegis Gym

So glad we found this hidden gem!My partner and I had a two month stint in Aus so needed to make the most of it.As a newbie to the gym, I was slightly nervous and apprehensive (usually finding gyms male dominated and intimidating). Aegis is by far the friendliest gym I’ve been to, all the trainers and gym-goers are so nice!They have a great range of classes (which cater for all levels of fitness) and a fab range of equipment for both strength and cardio.I did two months of PT sessions with Beth, she was amazing! From the moment I stepped into the gym she was championing me on to fulfil my full potential. Building up my confidence in the gym and weights every session- I’m already missing our sessions. I left the gym feeling confident, stronger and most importantly like the gym wasn’t intimidating, I know how to use the equipment and workouts tailored to my needs.Thank you to everyone at Aegis gym, especially to Beth and John- you guys are awesome!

By far the best gym I’ve been to. Everyone knows your name, class sizes are small and are tailored to every individual’s abilities/needs and overall, has such a supportive vibe. I have felt comfortable going to this Aegis gym from day one. I have gotten so much value from my membership and yet it’s the cheapest one I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend! I’ve been to a few gyms in my life and this one is by far my favourite. What really stands out is that the staff and trainers really care about you. I always just felt like a number at other gyms but this one they know me and always look after me. The facility is great with more than just the machines and classes. It has a half court, netball hoop and table tennis so they focus on not only the Individual but also encouraging team sports. This builds on being healthy physically as well as socially. It’s a big gym family! Great place and again I highly recommend!

I've never looked forward to going to the gym before Aegis. Now it's consistently a highlight of my week. There's a really good mix of classes and social sport, with mini games at the gym and gym teams in local comps. The small classes are fun, a great workout and they also have a focus on technique, so you're quick to see tangible improvements. The community is friendly and welcoming - always up for a chat and everyone knows your name. The facility is clean, aesthetic and well-organised with a good range of equipment. The app is super convenient to check in, book a class, receive updates and watch the instructional videos on how to use the equipment if needed. The owners, Aaron and John, are brilliant trainers and people. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I joined this gym with my partner whilst on a 2 month secondment from the UK and I couldn't have been any happier with the place.On our initial visit, John showed us around the gym, introduced us to some of the trainers, and explained the memberships. We signed up straight away with no hassle, the registration was simple, well priced and with no hidden small print.After signing up we immediately booked on to a few classes (all free within the membership), and started to get to know the trainers, who would always be motivating, happy to greet you at reception and assist around the gym.On every visit, the atmosphere in the gym/classes was always friendly and inclusive, and there was a really nice community feel to the place from both the trainers and the other members.I wish I could have stayed longer, but we are now back in the UK, and I feel like it will be a massive struggle to find a new gym as good as this.

Awesome gym with great trainers, always friendly people and such a welcoming community! Great facilities, like the bathrooms and lockers are amazing and the programs they provide are suitable for everyone! Also mentioning the sporting teams they invite you to join and there’s such a cool indoor basketball court!!

Incredible community atmosphere, excellent culture, high cleanliness standards and friendly/ knowledge staff. Coming into a gym nearly 100kilos overweight was daunting but the team and other gym goers at Aegis made me feel welcome from day 1!

I’ve been at Aegis for over a year now, In that time I’ve been apart of an amazing community that motivates and inspires each other to improve and achieve our goals no matter our skill or fitness levels.With the amazing support and advice from the aegis staff I’ve set and achieved fitness goals I didn’t think I was capable of!I highly recommend Aegis gym to anyone new or wanting a change from they’re standard franchise gyms!!

So incredibly grateful I stumbled across Aegis gym when looking to get out of my post Covid exercise slump.I absolutely love the variety of classes that are offered and tailored to all levels of fitness from beginner to expert! Not to mention very reasonable membership pricing with no hidden fees compared to most other gyms these days.You can tell the trainers are so passionate about the community they have created and strive to make every single person who walks through the door feel welcome!

Absolutely love heading into Aegis - it's so much more than just a fitness facility! John, Aaron, Kylan and the other trainers have created a relaxed, welcoming community where you can walk in the door and be greeted with a smile and by name, and feel like you're part of an extended family. So much easier to commit to getting to the gym regularly when you actually enjoy being there!
