Port Pirie Aerodrome
The Port Pirie Airport was made as a RAAF station during WW2 and was the location of No.2 Bombing & Gunnery School which provided training to pilots, air gunners & observers. After the war the airport was used to store aircraft and parts until the station closed in 1947. Since then the airport has been used by the public, the Bellman Hangar as it was originally built still stands.
