Perfect for a date !A brilliant cocktail and oyster bar that must be visited at least once by cocktail and oyster fans .The interior was elegant and nautical with stylish drapery fitted across the ceiling. The team always made sure we were comfortable and the service was impeccable.Great selections of Aussie pacific and rock oysters from SA, TAS and NSW. We got them natural and it was perfect with the Mignonette sauce. Absolutely stunning.The cocktails were playful and delicious — although I could not taste the vodka much with it. I cannot wait to come and try the Yuzu Painkiller next and of course back for more oysters. ☺️Thank you!

A great spot for Friday night’s drinking. They are called cocktails and oysters, so plz oysters is a must try. We ordered a dozen of it and had half half flavour.The cocktails was really good, I truly love my peachy pisco, and the chargrilled octopus was so yummy.

We only had drinks here so can't comment on the food, but it's a nice venue, fairly unique in its design. A few cocktail options available with some unique twists, as the olive oil oyster shell to be shot with the martini. Worth a visit especially if you're a martini fan, although they have plenty of other options available too.I did find the service a little lacking, started off well but got abandoned when trying to order a second drink so ended up asking for the bill which also took ages.

Excellent and prompt service.Some of the best sourced oysters I've found.Cocktails were immaculate.Top notch and exited to head back again asap.Edit 2023 - still one of my favorite bars in Melbourne and a staple for when we visit but had some poor service from one of the servers, visited the table of ladies next to us over 5 times for drink top ups and our table waited for food service for over 30 mins, solidly ignored.Still some of the best oysters and cocktails in melbs.

Beautiful location, in a vibrant alleyway.The Oysters were a little smaller than usual, however the presentation, and taste was delightful.Service was excellent, staff were friendly, attentive and also engaging throughout the night.I suggest asking the bartender for recommendations on drinks, as they were spot on and catered to the mood.The lighting and atmosphere was beautiful - grad for a date, celebration or a fun night out.

Easily one of the top 3 bars in Melbourne. The service as soon as we entered was great - they were very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us suggestions. The oysters were fresh and smooth, not fishy. Ambience was great.

Amazing dining experience at Pearl Diver! Everything was on point, from the oysters, the food and the cocktails! We pretty much tried the whole cocktail menu and were blown away by the flavours! On top of that you have a lovely fit out and friendly and attentive staff!

Pearl Diver Oyster Bar and Bistro
If you love Oysters then this is the place for you!! So many different varieties of oyster plus different sauces! Love this place. Nice and intimate, the staff are super friendly and the food/drink is delicious. Side note, some of the cocktails are very strong (petrol strong!) oh and they do a great Bloody Mary!
