Mount Buller & Stirling Resort Entry

Have been coming to Mt Buller for more than 20 years but lately I have been disappointed with the attitude and inflexibility of staff and the rising costs of everything. The fact you just didn't bother fixing the locker problem near the northside express is disgraceful. People pay good money to come up there. That alone lost you one star! The cleanliness of some of your facilities is pretty below standard too. You guys should pick your act up a bit or lower the cost of things to match the average standards you have.

The most friendliest older lady ever greeted us here and absolutely made the start of our day. Wish I got your name to say thanks publicly.We arrived 8am Sat morning, had pre-purchased resort entry to Stirling but didn’t get to print it beforehand so paid an extra $5 at the gate. Quick, smooth, entry process.

Thank you for leaving the gate open on King's Birthday weekend for us to leave Mt Sterling.

It’s amazing if it’s your first snow trip. Otherwise with artificial snow with long queues for entry / food / snow kits is not worth. Don’t plan a day trip if you are with kids and would like to explore snowboarding experience.

The lady was polite and helpful. We bought our pass online but it still took over 10min to get past the booth, with only 1 vehicle in front of us. We went on a Wednesday but I'd hate to be there on a weekend when its much busier.

The silliest things ever…For the online paperless booking ticket, they get you to print out the ticket, or otherwise pay $6!!!! for them to print for you!We have looked everywhere in the city to print in advance, but couldn’t find a single printing place, given it was a weekend!!!

Amazing place during winter. Snow everywhere near and after the carpark. There are two toboggan parks - Celia and in the village. The village requires a drive up in a free shuttle bus which comes every 15 minutes. Skiing classes can be booked. Ski gears can be booked and then collected at the shops or the ski/snowboarding school. The chair lifts are only for people with ski or snowboard gears. The north facing chair lift is the only one which is for sightseeing. Snowboard and ski gears are not allowed on this one chair lift. The North chair lift is near the carpark.I recommend not to book ski gears in your accommodation for first timers. If something is wrong with the ski gears you brought from elsewhere, the ski shops will not help you. They are not even allowed to touch them.

The drive to get here through the trees and snow is amazing ! It's like your in some other place !The resort is worth experiencing a fun filled time with family friends!

I certainly wouldn't pay to go during the season. Luckily the first snowfall seems to come in May while it's still free. Nice drive.

Mount Buller is a fantastic ski resort with an extensive range of slopes for all skill levels. The village offers great amenities, including cozy accommodations and delicious dining options.
