Alex made personalised gifts for me at a great price, and now I have unique quality locally made beautiful gifts for my family and friends. Alex from Lighthouse was great to deal with. I've had such a great experience creating this bi-fold wallet with Alex. From the beginning of the process to the end, Alex made sure to accommodate for each and every single request I could make from taking photos/videos of the leather to showing me the individual sections of the cuts he'll make for the final build. The attention to detail and craftsmanship behind his pieces are top notch. It was also really nice to see the progress of the wallet being crafted as he'd upload bits and pieces of him putting it together on his Instagram story @lighthouse_leather_co. Seeing it all come together was so satisfying. The finished product has definitely exceeded my expectations! I reached out to Alex via his website about a custom Astragal wallet. Unfortunately he did not have the Horween in stock, but instead used a Shinki Japanese shell Cordovan.Results were stellar - the wallet was exactly what I wanted as I wanted a three-tone wallet. Pricing was reasonable and Alex was very communicative throughout the entire process.I just received the wallet so I cannot comment on longevity, but based on another wallet that I own, the craftsmanship is equivalent if not better - I expect this wallet to last for a long time.
