Very nice local history museum, nice display of the mining of local chyroprase, a green stone called the Australian Jade. Also includes a small gift shop run by fantastic and most enjoyable volunteers.

A super museum. Lots of information. Learned about cream separation and how to make a refrigerator from a clay pot and some water. Unlike many larger, well financed museums this one's interactive display buttons all work. Well worth the visit and the 2 dollar suggested donation.

A must do if driving up or down small town plenty of history classic historical museum plenty to see and with a terrific gift and homemade crafts and jams etc made by locals only $2.50 there is a picnic park a local pub and grannies takeaway minimart nearbyWorth a stop to visit for an hour or so

Very quaint, great displays, information and well set out for a very small town. A must visit even if passing thru. It is only small and wont take to much out of your day, a good break from driving.

Cute little walking trail museum, I even sat out the back and studied for a little bit afterwards to get out of the heat. $2.50 is a fair price for a bit of history

This is a beautiful small museum. We were looked after and the lady was very knowledgeable about the area telling us stories. The craft was lovely to. We had a great time looking around and lots of home made items.

We did a pitstop at Marlborough and glad we did. Grandma's convenience store cooked up a beaut bacon and egg burger and top coffees, whilst waiting we were told about the museum and for a few bucks it was a great look around. Nice way to break up your drive

Lovely little museum, I especially liked learning about the way women worked and lived back in the days, and the dairy history of the area.
