Lots of interesting things to see. Looks small from the outside but has at least four big rooms. Caretakers very lovely people. Worthwhile visiting when in town and good price

Fantastic museum. Needs a six star rating.I've visited a couple of times over the years, and always see something I've previously overlooked. A brilliant window to not only history of the local area, but Australian history as well. From the remarkable (yet devastating) story of Douglas Sloane, to the Aboriginal tools display, to the historic vehicles and machinery....and everything thing in-between. There is SO much to be discovered. Was areal pleasure to meet (and chat) with a couple of the museums volunteers, Glen and Bruce on my last visit, couple of great blokes.Whether for fun or education, do yourself a favour and check this place out!

A large museum with a wide range of local historical items to explore. A complete bargain at only $5 entry. I highly recommend a visit, I spend around 2 hours here looking around and definitely could have spent longer.

Don't let the exterior put you off paying a visit to this Museum, it's chock full of items and displays to look at.Everything from cars, trucks, farming machinery, aircraft, war history, clothing and sports is on display.It doesn't have the interactivity of a modern museum but still so much stuff kids are happy to be there.
