I had the best time building with this team. I had never built before and they all went over and above to help me. The house was finished before time and the finishes are all excellent. The team are so friendly and so, so helpful with any queries or concerns. Nothing was too much trouble. Daryl, Craig and Steve were outstanding and such a laugh. Jessie was so helpful with the selection process. I would recommend Kookaburra to anyone wanting to build. I would certainly use them again. Thank you Kookaburra team, you are the best !

Their staff were nothing short of exceptional - the best service we have ever received!I cannot begin to thank the team at Kookaburra who helped us on our journey. We were so lucky to have had Steven Walker so heavily involved in our building process - we have never felt more valued as a customer than we have when working with Steve (thank you!) The sales team, in particular Craig and Erin, were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble, and the rapport we built will not be soon forgotten. The selections team, in particular Adi and Jessie were fantastic - they have a wealth of knowledge between them and their eye for detail is nothing short of amazing. My wife and I had our shack built by Kookaburra Homes in 2018. As a plumber with my own business I have been involved in residential construction for many years. Being involved in the residential construction and insurance industries I naturally come across and speak to many people who have or are building new houses with other builders. In doing so, over the years I have heard countless building horror stories from friends and customers, which I guess had made me quite apprehensive about wanting to build at all.Our experience with Kookaburra Homes was the absolute opposite...I must admit I had concerns from the outset that the build wouldn't meet my high expectations as everyday I see poor workmanship and corner cutting in other houses that I work on. But I can honestly say that the shack has turned out magnificent.I was able to keep a keen eye on the building process from start to finish as I did the plumbing myself, and I must say everything was done to a great standard at every stage along the way. This has resulted in a shack that has exceeded our expectations.The whole Kookaburra team has been great to deal with from start to finish and super professional.A year on from getting the keys and we are still over the moon with how our shack has turned out and we can't fault it!Often when I meet new neighbours up the shack and they find out we were the people who built the new Kookaburra Homes place, we get a concerned" ask about how KH's was to deal with. My response is always "you know what

Just finished building with Kookaburra Homes .We are extremely happy with our home. The finish is done to such a high standard. Such an easy and enjoyable process from start to finish .Highly recommend , good county values and service.

Admittedly covid caused a lot of problems with the progress of my build but there were a few other things that happened that made my build unpleasant.Still waiting for my steel posts to be stripped back, properly treated for the rust (that started appearing through the paint within weeks of being painted) and then repainted. Other problems were dealt with along the way but if I hadn't monitored some aspects closely, I wonder what might have happened.Some of their tradies are fantastic but I wouldn't recommend anyone to build until things settle down again.Overall, it cost me a lot more than I had budgeted for but I am now enjoying my new home.

We have ben looking around at different builders for a while, and when we met Nords at Kookaburra homes. Not only was he friendly and courteous but was accommodating on looking at my house design. He offered tea and coffee on arrival at 4.30 in the afternoon and was willing to stay back until we discussed everythingEven after I sent .a late email Nords responded immediately and had sorted my plans and ideas that night.

A very positive house building experience, from our initial meeting with owner Steve to completed house handover by Daryl some 4 weeks ahead of schedule. At every stage Kookaburra staff were warm, friendly and quickly responded to our questions or requests.When talking with tradies, we were impressed that they all spoke well of the company and often commented on the high standard of work that was expected .Building with Kookaburra is a flexible partnership where either side may suggest minor changes during the build when it is apparent that the set house plans can be improved.Throughout the build period we had many people enquire about the builder and we never hesitated to recommend Kookaburra Homes.

We didn’t expect to be building at this stage of our lives, but Kookaburra Homes made the whole process extremely simple. Everything fell into place and the build was relatively stress free.
