Iglu South Yarra Student Accommodation

I moved here from another student accommodation, and that was definitely one of the best decisions I made since I came to Melbourne! Staff and Resident Leaders are always very helpful and friendly, and they provide a variety of amusing events, such as cooking events, game nights and walking challenge! Even during the lockdown, they organised those events online in a creative manner, which helped me a lot to stay socially connected!As mentioned in the other reviews, the facilities are very modern and its location is superb, too – it's close to many shops, supermarkets and restaurants, as well as a couple of beautiful places you can walk in nature! Definitely a good place to stay for students. Great location surrounded with supermarket, grocery shops, restaurant and train station. Everything is within walking distance. Their staffs and RLs are very nice and friendly, and they are always there if you need any help or any assistance. I have a great experience living at here and meet a lot of new friends here. I gonna to miss here so much. XD

Iglu is amazing with amazing people in it, from the residing students to the friendly staff. Alissa is so patient and kind and so is every other receptionist. The residential leaders are attentive and helpful which makes living here easy. The communal environment is as clean and cosy as the pictures. Great overall <3

An ideal place for students in Melbourne. From its location (in the heart of South Yarra, a 2-minute walk to the train station- making it super close to the city, chapel street, the Yarra river and royal botanical gardens), to its incredibly well-maintained amenities and facilities, living at Iglu has exceeded my expectations! The community is so warm and accepting, and the staff are so welcoming and helpful- making the transition of living away from home so easy and fun. Could not recommend more for any student looking for a place to stay in Melbourne!

Staying at Iglu has been such an incredible experience as a student! From its perfect location surrounded by grocery shops and pharmacies, great markets and cafes, and public transport, to the facilities in the accommodation, and to the engaging weekly events, I think it’s a perfect place for students to choose to stay. So much ease in living here! Staff are nothing but extremely generous and super helpful whenever and with whatever you may need.

Excellent hostel for international students stydying in Melbourne. Centrally located near train station, shopping malls, restaurants, markets, grocery store, pharmacy, etc.Nice environment and helpful staff.

The BEST student accomodation! I have lived here since February 2022 and, as my first time moving out-of-home, Iglu has offered the most welcoming environment. From the facilities and amazing staff at Iglu itself, to the convenience of public transport and shops nearby, I truely couldn't ask for a better place to live! There are always events running throughout each month which provides students with great opportunities to interact and meet new people! Everyone here is so friendly and I couldn't recommend it enough for students looking for a home-away-from-home in Melbourne!

Iglu South Yarra is the best place for students who want a conveniently placed accommodation, with a friendly community and attentive staff. The building is located in a safe environment which is not only 2 minutes away from a wide variety of restaurants, but also both the train and tram station. The facilities are new and well kept, and events are well organized making the task of meeting new people easy!

Best student accommodation~~ I had a great time there ~~ Gym+event+study room+ best location in South Yarra. I love its staffs~ They are all kind, cute and lovely. I feel reallyyy sad when I moved out. Don’t wanna leave them and my cute neighbors.

Iglu is a wonderful community, all staff in here are so friendly! They will answer all your questions and try their best to give you a good experience in here. The view from the room is pretty cool, and the location is near the yarra river which you can have a good walk everyday. This accommodation is also near to a lot of market, you can find whatever you want easily. South yarra is a quiet place and near to CBD, here has a lot of good restaurants. BTW, the gym and cinema room all super good and free to use. Hope you also can get nice memories in here!
