Lash and Brow Avenue

After finding lash techs a little hit and miss, I reluctantly made an appointment with lash and brow Avenue...reluctant because the price was way out of my budget but this is a classic example of you get what you pay for" I have had a fullest and infills for the past 6 weeks and OMG they are perfect

The salon itself is gorgeous and the staff were kind and welcoming however my brows look absolutely awful. The tint was placed so far above my actual brow I look like a 5 year old has done their own make up with black texta. The dye is uneven and both brows look very different. After making it to the car and looking in the mirror, I went back in to have it fixed. The lady I had scrubbed off some of the dye above the brow and asked me if that was enough. It looked somewhat better, but I just wanted to get out of there. On the questionnaire I filled in when I entered I ticked that that I like my brows medium-thick. I was never asked any more questions about shape or thickness, only colour. I have attached 2 photos for reference. One straight after, before they were fixed" and one after I had gone back in to get them fixed. I am really upset as I have been looking for a new local brow place for a long time and had read such great reviews."

I’ve always had a great experience with getting my lashes done here, but today was especially fantastic. I had brow lamination and infills done today and I was absolutely amazed, I feel so pretty! The quality of the services were 12/10! Thank you very much Nancy and Tanya! Stellar job today :)

I made an appointment and paid 50 $ deposit but on the day I started to have flu symptoms , since I am a doctor I knew that I might be infectious, so I called and cancelled for the sake of the beautician’s health and safety. Instead of being appreciative they said that they are not going to use the deposit towards the next appointment and they forfeited my money! I will never come back to a salon that does not prioritise health and safety!

Love lash and brow avenue. Jolee is wonderful and always does a great job with my lashes. I recently booked with Helen as Jolee was away. Helen was also fantastic, I’m due for my normal infill and I’ve hardly lots any lashes. I’ll definitely be booking with Helen again.

Nancy and her team are absolutely amazing. We are regular clients and can’t fault the service or any of the treatments we have had. I have my eyebrows regularly tinted and Nancy does a fantastic job. Would highly recommend Lash and Brow Avenue.

I had classic lashes and was very happy with the results. The whole session was comfortable. I was explained the after care for my lashes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Nancy and her team are very professional, the place is clean, and they use high quality products and very reasonable pricing. I will go back again.

They really don’t like you to change your mind and really make you feel uncomfortable and pressured into doing something you’re not sure of.I had walked in and requested to be booked for classic lashes and eyebrow micro blading (I know a few people who have gotten this done, so was comfortable to do this). Nancy booked me in, took a deposit then advised she just booked me for hybrid lashes and ombré brow tattooing instead because it’s “more natural”. When I reviewed their ombré work it was definitely something that I did not want so before my appointment I rang and told Monique who answered that I did not want to do the ombré tattooing and that I would opt for a wax and tint instead. She instantly changed her tune with me and was quite cold after that. Once I arrived I spotted Nancy who I approached and also let her know to which she responded in not such a nice tone “Yeah I heard, can I ask the reason”? So I again explained I did research and it wasn’t something I wanted. She tried talking me into it and made me feel like I was being silly for feeling like that, I walked away to sit back down and they both had a little giggle. She called me in late for my appointment and continued to try and pressure me into tattooing my eyebrows. I felt that uncomfortable and upset that I ended up telling her this is my first ever time here and if I don’t feel comfortable to do something like tattooing my eyebrows and that she should not make me feel pressured. She then softened slightly and said she understood. But then she continued and said well why didn’t you book for micro blading instead? What?! I jumped right away and said yes I did book for that but you took it upon yourself to book me in for ombré tattooing which I looked at in your page and disliked - She said “Yeah but those pictures are all full on because that’s what they wanted. We can do it less prominent on you”Anyway, I don’t at all feel comfortable to return to this salon and I am concerned for younger girls who maybe wouldn’t be confident to say no and are talked into doing procedures they’re not comfortable doing. On top of this for the services I received I only owed $100 but was charged $180. I didn’t query as I just wanted to leave. I rebooked for lash infills but now wouldn’t feel ok going for that either after writing this.

This salon is hands down the best I have ever been too. The girls treat with you the upmost respect and pamper you with their expertise. Highly recommend this salon to all my friends and family as I know they will be looked after well!
