Silver Halide Studios

It's not just a store but an experience. Being able to walk in and talk about anything and everything camera and non-camera related is refreshing compared to other stores. I have had a great experience with the team at Silver Halide especially when recommending certain type of film which can further improve my photography style. They are also extremely quick at processing both 35mm and 120 film. In particular, as I mainly shoot 120, it takes roughly 1-2 days on average which is weeks faster then anywhere else in Perth. Overall, G people, G store :)

The team at Silver are nothing short of wonderful. Incredibly patient, generous with their time and resources, and very knowledgeable about the industry. Their service is top-notch quality. I could go on forever about these guys, but everyone has already articulated my thoughts.I do want to emphasise their sense of community, too, always thinking of ways to bring others into the fold and support the film ecosystem.Great folks, the best service. Great lab!Friendly, understanding and helpful staff that always understand the assignment, and are well respected by the Perth arts community.It's refreshing to find a local lab that consistently cares about the quality of their output, even through their busiest periods -- the same unfortunately can't be said for every lab in town.B&W, E6, as well as the many different film formats they process *in-house* is also a huge benefit and a rare find in Perth.Easily the best and most well-rounded lab I've visited in my time shooting film, which is why I've been coming back for nearly a couple of years now :)Also worth visiting just to say hello to Bud! (but get your film done here too)

I'm in love with Silver Halide Studios and the services they provide. From the moment I first walked in the door, Aimee and Alex, the owners of the studio, made me feel welcome and comfortable. They are two of the kindest humans I've ever met and their passion for photography and film is contagious.The team at Silver Halide is simply exceptional. They take the time to understand their clients' needs and are always willing to have a chat and share their knowledge. I recently got into film photography as a hobby and Silver Halide Studios has been my go to lab. They are very reliable and professional with amazing attention to detail, all at a reasonable price and turnaround time. Chatting with Alex, I got some really good advice and tips about film and you get the chance to meet a very good boy, Buud.

Very happy with the service by Silver Halide.I dropped my photos in at Conscious Craves and received them a week later. The colours were brilliant and I received a kind email when the photos were ready.Would highly recommend getting your film developed and scans done by Silver Halide.

Insanely good! The staff at Silver Halide are so friendly and helpful, not to mention they got my film back to me looking beautiful and faster than I've ever had film processed before. Can't recommend them enough, and will definitely be back soon myself!

Super incredibly friendly staff with amazing turnover time! First roll of film developed here in perth turned over in 2 hours and another 4 rolls within the same day. Thank you for such amazing service!
