Rowsley Avenue of Honour
The Rowsley Avenue of Honour is dedicated to the Second World War. A small roadside cairn lists the names of those who served, including those personnel who paid the supreme sacrifice.This is a relatively recent memorial, honouring local men and women who served in WW2 - 1939-45. The trees were planted after 2000, I remember travelling to the Brisbane Ranges (via Reids Road) before the memorial existed.
