King of Cakes

They are now under new management…no longer authentic German products…cakes are not what’s on website and customer service at seventeen miles rock so rude…Do Not Recommend.Poor service and False advertisement.

I recently visited King of Cakes in Brisbane, Australia and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their baked goods. From the moment I walked into the store, I was greeted with the delicious scent of fresh bread and pastries.The selection of cakes, pastries, and breads was extensive, and it was hard to decide what to try first. I ended up selecting a croissant, a danish, and a slice of their famous carrot cake.The croissant was flaky and buttery, with just the right amount of sweetness. The danish was filled with a deliciously tangy raspberry jam and the pastry itself was light and airy. But the real standout was the carrot cake. It was moist, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. The cream cheese frosting was the perfect complement to the cake.The staff at King of Cakes were also friendly and welcoming, and happy to answer any questions I had about their products.Overall, I highly recommend King of Cakes to anyone looking for high-quality baked goods in Brisbane. The selection is extensive, the quality is top-notch, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning for more delicious treats in the future.

Looks like a half derelict house inside and out. There is no actual bakery there. U can order cakes there in what looks like a never properly set up office. Very odd and disappointing

Thank you for a perfect customer experience. I ordered a 'Death by Chocolate' cake to be delivered to my daughter's office before they closed at midday. I know this is difficult but you did it, thank you! Everything about my customer experience was perfect. My daughter's colleagues are awed by the fabulous cake and will certainly be future customers, and customer service and communication were 5*. Thank you so much, I'll always choose you in future

King of cakes produced an excellent German themed cake for my wife’s 40th- We gave them an idea and they executed it perfectly, it was a massive hit and was the best chocolate cake I have had! They keep in contact through Covid disruptions and made sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend.

Ordered a 21st birthday cake one tier paid $95 for it to pick it up on the day and there was supposed to be strawberries around the side and around the top and a 21st cake topper with cream cheese piping decoration around the top. I got to the shop to see a plain white cake with a sprinkle of strawberries on the top sorry but for $95 that’s ridiculous it was not what I asked for wouldn’t even give them a star

Shame I can’t provide 0 stars, considering after I paid for my cake and delivery (double checked all my details to ensure no confusion), my order never turned up on the day. They provided no way to get in touch (I tried) and they had no idea until I reached out for a refund the following business day that the order was missed. This could not have been a worse experience. Please learn from my mistake and shop elsewhere for piece of mind that your order will actually arrive on your special day.

Bought a Black Forest Cake for my daughter's birthday. The cake was fresh & delious. We bought it online which was easy. Staff member at pick-up was very helpful.
