It’s always a treat to come into this bookshop, such a quiet shop, friendly and helpful staff, reasonably priced books too! I’m a huge fan of their classics bookshelf too, I could get lost in it.

This is the best book store that I have ever been to. Amazing. The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful who went out of their way to help me out. I couldn't believe the incredible range and variety on hand.

Second time I have been to the store and found it fantastic. Amazing range of books for all ages.Great service as well - yesterday I was accidently overcharged on eftpos for a book, (complete accidental oversight) called this morning and the issue was resolved within about 20 minutes. Thank you to the lovely Sarah for her prompt actions and really awesome friendly manner to help a customer. Could not have asked for better service thank you :)

Fantastic range, I just wish I could bring my dog in store, so I wouldn't feel rushed browsing. I visit the area from far away so I've always got her with me :)

Great bookstore with vast selection, but I walked out feeling really puzzled because the woman who served me seemed to really dislike me and I’m not sure why. She could well be the owner? Not sure.I took my husband in because he wanted to browse, and she stared at me with great suspicion and a surly expression that time too, so I tried to break the ice with a “hi”, but yeah she continued to eye me like I was a criminal. It was really strange! I thought about it for hours afterwards.

Beautiful book store with an amazing selection of books and kids gifts. Last time we visited we bought books, went across the road for coffee... then returned for more!

All the very best bookshops have a resident cat. One that sleeps in a sunny window or nestles restfully among the books. Stoneman's is no exception. What Stoneman's cat demonstrates is that this store is a place of love and warmth (cats don't stick around otherwise). Cats also remind us that books should be a pastime of attentivenes and pleasure, since this is how cats live their lives. Also, Tom is adopted. Which tells us another thing about Stoneman's: they are lovely people. So, go to Stoneman's because they love and revere books and know a lot about them, pat Tom gently, and receive outstanding service. A true gem!

We love this bookshop. It has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the range of books is second to none. The perfect place to while away some time browsing and buying some great reads.
