Lots of clothes, homewares, books but prices are steep! Got a designer section up front!

I have been here many times, the manager is kind but is not fair with the prices, I used to buy from here every week, now I just don't want to keep spending so much for stuff given as a donation for charity.

Never will step in again, the older lady who was in charge was so rude and ignorant ! Just a question and she yelled: ' Can't you see the price?!'"

Has become so overpriced, many things are actually cheaper new! Staff kind and friendly, but way too expensive now.

This is definitely one of the best Vinnies in Sydney. The prices are fair, the service is friendly and I always find a couple of bargains.

I never Google review but I feel compelled to speak up about the prices here, which have become ridiculous. I'm all for Vinnies making money to fund the good work they do, but right now instead of serving the local community you're pricing the local community out. Even Vinnies in Waverley is cheaper! In these tough economic times, please remember that op shops are meant to exist to help those who can't afford to shop at traditional stores.

This has been my regular Vinnies for a few years. I haven’t been for about three months because the prices were becoming unaffordable. Visited today and sorry, but that’s it - I’ll not be returning. They are turning it into an over-priced high end boutique. There was a bunch of workers involved in moving things around, challenging each others’ display prowess like some sort of competition. Vinnies should be there for people to buy second hand items because they are too poor to buy new items. Now there’s no comparison in prices, even eBay sells things more affordable. This has also happened to my other long term favourite, Leichhardt Vinnies. I saw a dress there for $120! Jeez. Stop catering to people who can afford to shop in trendy boutiques - we poor people need to buy stuff too!

Typically I would give a thrift shop, especially Vinnies, a 5 star rating, as the model of the store is fabulous, until a few months ago. A year ago, a shirt I bought for 5 dollars now costs 10/15 dollars at a minimum, which is disgraceful. This store has lovely volunteers and staff, do not get me wrong on that. However, I am very disappointed with the recent attitude it has presented. Me, and virtually everyone else who go to Vinnies is for cheaper than usual items such as kitchen essentials, clothes, furniture and more. Now, they are acting like a designer store, selling old and stained clothes for higher than their original value. I mean a Kmart shirt was being sold for $10 when it is sold at Kmart for $7. I mean that is perplexing that a thrift store sells for more than original price. Vinnies, please remember that under everything, you are a charity made for people in need. Remember that you were created not to make profit, but to spread positivity to the world. Remember your origins all that time ago. Go back one year in time and start to become reasonable and good again.
