With some self guided learning under my belt over the last few years, I wasn't quite sure what course level to come in at when I chose to start my first formal learning journey. When I reached out to the team, Isabel, Steffe and Käthe were incredibly accomodating and helped me find my place in the right course!The structure of learning activities are diverse and interesting and I can really feel the information sinking in quickly and my skills growing.Thanks to the whole team for providing such a welcoming and fun environment!

I’ve been a student here twice. For a few semesters about 10 years ago and now back in 2022/2023. My experience for both times has been positive with teachers really knowing their stuff. I’ve been keen to learn more grammar (to round out my conversational German) and it has done exactly that. My vocab has improved and my general command and understanding has improved. I’d like it if the classes were offered twice weekly to really drive things home.

I highly recommend the team at GLC WA, especially Steffi who is a fantastic teacher. The classes provide a great opportunity to learn and practice German, whilst still being relaxed enough to ensure everyone is comfortable.

This is my 1st semester learning German with our very knowledgeable teacher Steffi. The classes are interactive, good fun and are helping me to speak German and correctly apply grammar.

Steffi is a great teacher and makes our intro to German classes fun. She not only teaches us vocabulary and grammar, but also German culture. I highly recommend this class to beginner German students.

I was a little hesitant about committing to a class in the evenings to learn a second language. However, I've found it easy to arrive every Tuesday at 6pm and the 2 hours flyby. I've retained 90% of what I've learnt so far as Isabel ensures we continuously revise in each class. The classes give off a relaxed vibe and Isabel, who is from Germany, is a great teacher, very knowledgeable, funny, patient and encouraging. The other students are friendly and as we are all beginners, you don't feel embarrassed or self-conscious when speaking aloud.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to learn German.

This turned out to be the best German class I've been to in Perth and I'm really pleased that I signed up. Our teacher, Isabel, is helpful and clear in her instruction. She has a friendly approach and makes sure all the students are included, so I enjoy going every week. There's a good mix of grammar and conversation, with examples that are relevant to us via the useful textbook. I feel like I'm making good progress. Also helpful is that the class is located south of the river and easy to get to using public transport.

Whether your level is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, German Language Classes provide an excellent place to study German. The teachers are friendly and helpful, and you don’t get into trouble if you can’t do the homework! Highly recommended.
